Kuala Lumpur, 9 September 2025 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and Scicom (MSC) Berhad (Scicom) have entered into a strategic partnership to elevate customer experience through artificial intelligence (AI)-driven innovation and operational excellence. The collaboration reflects TM’s commitment to delivering world-class customer engagement and taking its service standards to the next level.

The partnership will bring together operational expertise and next-generation AI solutions, including conversational bots, predictive analytics, sentiment analysis, and intelligent routing. This will enable faster responses, higher resolution rates, and more seamless experiences for customers across all channels, including voice, chat, email, and social media.

YAYASAN TM’s ‘PROGRAM CAHAYA RAMADAN’ CONTINUES TO BRING JOY TO THE LESS FORTUNATE COMMUNITIES

KUALA LUMPUR, 22 March 2024 – TM, through its social foundation arm, Yayasan TM (YTM), announces the continuation of its ‘Program Cahaya Ramadan’. This year, the programme allocates RM320,000 to aid approximately 3,000 beneficiaries across Malaysia, including asnaf, orphans, B40 families, single mothers, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), tahfiz students, and the Orang Asli community.   The initiative, mobilised through our state offices nationwide, focuses on distributing food baskets and raya essential items such as baju raya and duit raya (cash) to the identified beneficiaries during Ramadan.   Ainol Shaharina Sahar, Director of Yayasan TM said, “It is our honour to once again initiate the ‘Program Cahaya Ramadan’, extending our hand in solidarity to those in need during this reflective and benevolent time of year. Our goal is to alleviate the hardships of our beneficiaries, ensuring they too can share in the joy and togetherness that Ramadan brings. We aim to foster a sense of community and hope, particularly among children, as they observe the sacred month and look forward to Eid ul-Fitr celebrations.”   In addition to these efforts, YTM is launching the ‘Dana Kasih Yayasan TM’ fundraising campaign, aiming to raise RM30,000 to specifically assist Orang Asli families in Pos Kuala Mu, Sungai Siput, Perak. This campaign focuses on gathering funds to provide these families with essential food supplies for Ramadan, aiming to ensure they have the resources needed for a fulfilling festive period. TM Strengthens National Talent Pipeline with RM25 Million through Yayasan TM Future Leaders Scholarships 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, 11 August 2025 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “the Group”), through its foundation arm Yayasan TM (YTM), has awarded RM25 million in scholarships under the Yayasan TM Future Leaders Scholarship 2025, reaffirming the Group’s steadfast commitment to nurturing talent, supporting education and nation building. The scholarships will support students pursuing strategic fields including Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science and Analytical Economics at TM’s wholly owned Multimedia University (MMU), local public universities (IPTA), as well as leading institutions in the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Singapore. Applicants went through a rigorous, transparent selection process which included stringent academic screening, online aptitude and competency tests, and final interviews conducted by Behavioural Event Interview (BEI)-certified panels. The recipients were celebrated at a presentation ceremony held recently at Dewan Tun Canselor, Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya, attended by esteemed parents, TM and MMU leaders, and a representative from the Ministry of Higher Education. Ainol Shaharina Sahar, Director of Yayasan TM remarked, “We are proud to welcome these bright young minds into the YTM family. Beyond financial sponsorship, the Future Leaders recipients will also embark on a comprehensive, end-to-end development programme designed to shape holistic and well-rounded individuals, while equipping them with future-ready skills, both in digital proficiency and employability. We believe these young talents will go on to lead, inspire, and make a meaningful difference for Malaysia’s future.” Since its inception in 1994, Yayasan TM has supported more than 18,000 students through various education initiatives, with total investments of more than RM650 million to date. Tune Protect enters partnership with Huawei Malaysia and TM

FIRST TO HOST THE INSURANCE CORE SYSTEM ON TM’S PUBLIC CLOUD IN MALAYSIA ​Tune Protect Malaysia (Tune Protect), Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Huawei Malaysia) and Telekom Malaysia Bhd (TM) announced a collaboration today for Tune Protect to re-platform its existing GIS (General Insurance System), an insurance core system on Cloud. The hosting of Tune Protect’s core insurance system on Cloud is the first for insurers in Malaysia as it progresses in its digital transformation. The core system comes with a set of SAP HANA and SAP applications that will be completely hosted in TM Cloud αEdge (pronounced as Cloud Alpha Edge) which provides multi-cloud deployment management platform, scalability reliance and trust  . This pivotal move is part of Tune Protect’s Cloud First strategy , and in line with current market demand. Works are currently underway for the core insurance system to be deployed in multiple phases commencing July 2022. Rohit Nambiar, Group Chief Executive Officer of Tune Protect said, “As the first insurer to have received the approval to host the core system on Cloud, we are further enhancing our group credentials. This transformation is crucial to support today’s fast-paced and demanding business operations and ensure the company consistently stays competitive in the market. Partnering with Huawei Malaysia and TM has brought Tune Protect to a whole new level of engagement experience. Aside to providing cloud and digital services, Huawei and TM have also demonstrated   teamwork and commitment through the rendering of advisory and consultation in terms of compliance and technical requirements that align to the guidance provided by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).  This will be the first core insurance system in Malaysia that has been officially approved by BNM and will be hosted on TM Cloud αEdge -- the only Malaysian-owned Hyperscaler Public Cloud, that primarily promotes data sovereignty. This marks a significant milestone for the company  as TM’s Cloud αEdge meets the data protection standard and compliant  to BNM’s Risk Management in Technology (RMiT) full guidance requirements checklist, making it the ONLY Public Cloud choice for financial service industry (FSI) customers’ cloud adoption in Malaysia. Meanwhile, Imri Mokhtar, Group Chief Executive Officer of TM said, “We fully understand the importance for FSI customers, including insurers such as Tune Protect to have highly secured digital infrastructure while they continue accelerating their digital adoption. Through the collaboration with Huawei Malaysia, this infrastructure is reinforced through Cloud, AI and the most advanced cybersecurity practices and technologies, putting it right on track to become the only Malaysian-owned end-to-end Cloud AI infrastructure service provider. This means the data in the Cloud is stored right here in Malaysia instead of abroad, providing a solution to the challenge of data sovereignty.
