TM extends ‘JASA Pack’ unifi mobile plan to all PDRM officers & staff to support their digital lifestyle
A specially priced unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ offers unlimited calls, data and SMS available for subscription starting today
As the one and only brand in Malaysia that offers a truly converged broadband services to Malaysians nationwide, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) today reiterates its appreciation for the contributions of Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM) to the nation with the extension of its unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ Pack to all PDRM officers and staff.
The specially priced unifi Mobile plan was launched by Datuk Bazlan Osman, Acting Group Chief Executive Officer, TM and Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun, the Inspector General of Police. Also present were other police officers and PDRM staff of various ranks.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Datuk Bazlan said, “We are happy to further extend our unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ Pack plan, a specially priced plan now available for all PDRM officers across all ranks. The offering of this special package is to appreciate their sacrifices for and contributions towards the country and a reflection of our unwavering support towards uniformed bodies such as PDRM. “Over the years, TM has been working closely with PDRM for many successful initiatives towards enhancing the national security. For the past 21 years, TM is the main supporter for ‘Ops Selamat’ road and home safety campaign in reducing the road mishaps rate and to increase awareness on home safety and driving safety during festive season. We also work closely with PDRM on preventive measures via various collaborative activities. The unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ Pack is available to all PDRM officers and staff who are existing or new unifi and Streamyx subscribers. Specially priced at only RM59 per month, unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ Pack can be subscribed at all TMpoint outlets nationwide and subscribers can enjoy unlimited data, calls and SMS with no contract. The plan can be subscribed with a new mobile number or by maintaining the existing mobile number via port in. The unifi Mobile ‘JASA’ pack special promotion for PDRM officers is available for subscription until 31 March 2019 and a PDRM staff ID will be required as verification document during the registration process.
Initially, earlier this year, TM launched the similar package of unifi Mobile ‘JASA Pack’ plan for teachers and officers under the Ministry of Education.

TM expands its unifi service to more areas in Kuching
Residents of three (3) more villages in Kuching namely Kampung Boyan, Kampung Gersik and Kampung Surabaya can now enjoy high speed Internet connectivity with unifi. This initiative is hoped to boost the growth of local industries such as Kek Lapis Sarawak and Ikan Terubuk Masin, thus promoting digital economy and adoption of a more digital lifestyle amongst the local communities. TM migrating unifi customers to private IP for more seamless connectivity and better security
With the rapid growth of Internet usage, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) worldwide are facing the exhaustion of IPv4 addresses. As such, TM has started migrating its unifi customers to private IP to enable more seamless connectivity and better security. The migration involves its unifi customers subscribing to unifi 30Mbps, 50Mbps and 100Mbps plans and are currently on dynamic public IPv4 Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. These customers are being migrated to private IPs, which will enable them to experience seamless connectivity in a more secured environment. The process will be executed remotely from our end, so the customers involved with this migration need not perform any action at their end. Customers using CCTV IP-Based and known hosting will not be impacted as they will be excluded from the migration exercise. This activity is ongoing, with minimal downtime (if any) of merely between 2 – 5 minutes. Upon completion of the migration, customers’ internet performance will not be affected. All impacted customers are notified in advance. We trust this exercise will provide our unifi customers with enhanced security when browsing the Internet or utilising any online tools and applications. We at TM are continuously upgrading and improving our product offerings to cater to the evolving needs and usage of our customers across all segments.
