TM brings unifi customers to Old Trafford!
8 lucky unifi customers experienced an all-expenses paid trip to Old Trafford
unifi, the premier Convergence brand under Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), recently flew eight (8) lucky winners of its ‘unifi Flyaway to Manchester United’ campaign for a dream trip to London and Manchester, United Kingdom. The lucky customers were selected among customers who are subscribing to 100Mbps unifi packages with highest subscriptions of Value Added Services (VAS) and good payment track records. Each walked away with a five (5) days four (4) nights all-expenses-paid trip for two (2) persons to watch the football match between Manchester United (MU) and Arsenal at Old Trafford, Manchester.

All the unifi customers, together with their partners were all excited to experience spring in London and Manchester. The trip was packed with sight-seeing activities in London and Manchester’s favorite attractions. The highlights of the trip, the Old Trafford Stadium tour with a surprised meet and greet with the MU’s football legend, Andy Cole was definitely an unforgettable moment for the winners. The excitement doesn’t end there, the winners were overjoyed when they were invited for a pitch side photo with another MU’s legend, Bryan Robson before the match between MU and Arsenal.
The unifi Flyaway to Manchester United’ campaign was held from 1 November 2017 until 28 February 2018.
As part of the partnership with MU, TM has continuously organised various programmes for unifi customers, including under its customer loyalty initiatives. Recently, TM participated in MU’s #ILOVEUNITED event tour where the MU’s long-running and popular fan event made its stop here in Kuala Lumpur in March. The event showcases various football-based booth activities such as “Snookball” and “Bend it like Beckham” challenge where visitors of all ages can take part and stand a chance to win merchandise from TM and MU.
The maiden visit made by #ILOVEUNITED to meet its fan here in Malaysia also brought three (3) MU’s legends – Dwight Yorke, David May and Dennis Irwin for an exclusive meet and greet session with selected unifi customers.

Enabling greater digital inclusivity for Malaysians through Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar Tetap
Following Minister of Communications and Digital, YB Fahmi Fadzil’s announcement on the Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar Tetap (Fixed Internet Broadband) yesterday, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) is committed to support the Government’s aim to bring hyperconnectivity to key target communities. Focusing on segments most in need particularly B40, the elderly, OKU, army-police veterans, the delivery of Pakej Perpaduan Jalur Lebar Tetap aligns with TM’s aspiration to empower a Digital Malaysia and meet the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), particularly to promote inclusive and sustainable digital industrialization and innovation (Goal 9), as well as to reduce inequalities and empower social and economic inclusion for all (Goal 10). As a responsible corporate organisation, TM has a social accountability to making a positive impact for the community. Furthermore, the initiative will strengthen the nation’s digital inclusivity and bring digital access and opportunities to all layers of society. “Pakej Perpaduan comes at a crucial point of the nation’s recovery and complements other national initiatives such as Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah and Payung Rahmah to ensure a better quality of life for these communities. TMpoint Kajang reports one (1) new positive Covid-19 case
Safety protocols activated – outlet closed for sanitisation till 27 December 2020 Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) wishes to confirm one (1) new positive case of COVID-19 amongst its employees at TMpoint Kajang on 13 December 2020. The employee is currently receiving treatment at a Government hospital. Following the confirmed case, TM has taken immediate action to close its TMpoint Kajang until 27 December 2020 for disinfection and sanitisation in accordance to the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health (MoH). Meanwhile, other TMpoint outlets remain in operations in adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as TM’s added safety guidelines to ensure our customers continue to be served. TM management and staff are together praying for the speedy recovery of all those affected by the pandemic. Meanwhile, detailed contact tracing is being carried out by the MoH, assisted by TM’s COVID-19 Crisis Response Team (CRT), to identify and inform those whom had close contact with the positive case. Identified close contacts are being contacted by MoH for further advice and action. TM would like to remind everyone at all times to stay safe – practice social distancing, maintain personal hygiene and adhere to the SOPs as advised by the Government. TM would like to reiterate that it has taken and will continue to take all necessary measures to ensure the health and safety of its customers, employees and community.
