8 lucky unifi customers experienced an all-expenses paid trip to Old Trafford

unifi, the premier Convergence brand under Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), recently flew eight (8) lucky winners of its ‘unifi Flyaway to Manchester United’ campaign for a dream trip to London and Manchester, United Kingdom. The lucky customers were selected among customers who are subscribing to 100Mbps unifi packages with highest subscriptions of Value Added Services (VAS) and good payment track records. Each walked away with a five (5) days four (4) nights all-expenses-paid trip for two (2) persons to watch the football match between Manchester United (MU) and Arsenal at Old Trafford, Manchester.

All the unifi customers, together with their partners were all excited to experience spring in London and Manchester. The trip was packed with sight-seeing activities in London and Manchester’s favorite attractions. The highlights of the trip, the Old Trafford Stadium tour with a surprised meet and greet with the MU’s football legend, Andy Cole was definitely an unforgettable moment for the winners. The excitement doesn’t end there, the winners were overjoyed when they were invited for a pitch side photo with another MU’s legend, Bryan Robson before the match between MU and Arsenal.

The unifi Flyaway to Manchester United’ campaign was held from 1 November 2017 until 28 February 2018.

As part of the partnership with MU, TM has continuously organised various programmes for unifi customers, including under its customer loyalty initiatives. Recently, TM participated in MU’s #ILOVEUNITED event tour where the MU’s long-running and popular fan event made its stop here in Kuala Lumpur in March. The event showcases various football-based booth activities such as “Snookball” and “Bend it like Beckham” challenge where visitors of all ages can take part and stand a chance to win merchandise from TM and MU.

The maiden visit made by #ILOVEUNITED to meet its fan here in Malaysia also brought three (3) MU’s legends – Dwight Yorke, David May and Dennis Irwin for an exclusive meet and greet session with selected unifi customers.

TM launches first phase of 5G services for unifi mobile customers and businesses

Strengthening Unifi’s fixed-mobile convergence offering, TM aims to deliver seamless 5G transition and spur Malaysia’s 5G adoption and digital capabilities ​Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “the Group”) is uniquely positioned to accelerate Malaysia’s 5G adoption, as the Group leverages its convergence leadership in delivering seamless fixed and mobile services to customers and businesses. Following the signing of DNB’s Access Agreement on 30 October 2022, TM launched the first phase of its 5G services today, offering unlimited 5G data to existing Unifi Mobile Postpaid customers, as well as new Postpaid and Prepaid customers. “DNB’s Access Agreement provides a level playing field for telcos to access the single 5G network equally, to deliver a wider range of innovative services,” said Imri Mokhtar, TM’s Group CEO. “Leveraging this equal entry into 5G plus our current suite of connectivity and digital solutions, TM will be better placed to drive innovation and digital transformation at a national level, aligning with key digital programmes such as JENDELA and MyDigital to competitively position Malaysia as a technology hub.”   “5G will reinforce TM’s leadership in fixed-mobile converged services for our consumer and MSME segments, strengthening our mobile capabilities to provide the widest and fastest all-in-one solution for fixed broadband, mobile service and digital content that meets today’s digital lifestyles and workstyles,” Imri added. TM stays committed to serve customers during full Movement Control Order

As an essential services provider, TM continues its operations subject to FMCO guidelines With the nation going into Full Movement Control Order (FMCO) starting 1 June 2021, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) remains committed to serving the nation as we understand connectivity is especially crucial to our customers during this period. As the safety and health of its employees, contractors and customers continue to be the utmost priority, TM is taking the necessary precaution steps to protect their wellbeing when carrying out their tasks. With the FMCO implementation, TM will continue with Special Working Arrangements for its workforce nationwide until further guided by the Government. TM employees at the frontline and supporting critical functions are given the option of flexible working hours or split working teams. Meanwhile, other employees will continue to work from home utilising digital and online productivity tools available. TMpoint outlets and key partner stores are open for service applications and essential transactions subject to government and local authority regulations. Our service installation and restoration activities remain available for customers with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in place to ensure the safety of both TM personnel and its customers.
