Unifi, the nation’s leader in converged fixed broadband, mobile, and lifestyle services, has today launched its UNI5G #LIVEUNSTOPPABLE event at Pavilion, Bukit Bintang.

 

Running from 19 to 21 May 2023, the event showcases 5G’s capabilities in delivering greater connectivity and empowering limitless opportunities in education, work, entertainment, music, gaming, and so much more.

 

The event will include not-to-be-missed opportunities for visitors to interact and learn from some of Malaysia’s favourite influencers such as Elizabeth Tan (on 19 May), MK Clique and Noki (on 20 May), and Vokey (on 21 May). They will also get to participate in UNI5G’s unique content creation experience by taking 3D video footage of themselves, with selected participants having the once-in-a-lifetime chance to be featured on the Pavilion Elite 3D LED Screen located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

 

Visitors could also win tickets to upcoming Liga Malaysia football matches, the latest Samsung Galaxy S23+ mobile phones, and limited UNI5G football jerseys, when they participate in Unifi’s TikTok #UnstoppableRap challenge, join in the longest #UnstoppablePlaylist on Spotify, and take part in other exciting activities.

TM and PDRM join forces to ensure a pleasant Raya celebration for all

Op Selamat 13/2018 campaign for the upcoming festive season launched to promote community safety and security Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) continues to collaborate with Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM) for community safety and security in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration with the launch of the annual safety campaign “Op Selamat 13/2018” today. This campaign, which marks the 21st consecutive years of collaboration between both parties, aimed at increasing public awareness on road safety and home security this Raya celebration season. The campaign was launched by Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun, the Inspector General of Police. Also present was Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Sulaiman Mahbob, Chairman, TM as well as Datuk Bazlan Osman, Acting Group Chief Executive Officer, TM and other police officers of various ranks. At the event, Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi flagged off the ‘Traffic Monitoring Team’ and a convoy of motorcyclists and cars to symbolically emphasise the campaign’s message. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Sulaiman said, “As a responsible corporate citizen, TM is committed to playing its role in supporting the Government’s efforts towards the nation’s well-being and once again, we continue our long standing collaboration with PDRM for Op Selamat 13/2018 safety campaign this year. The safety of road users and their homes are the utmost important thing during this festive holiday season. This is why we would like to remind all members of the public to adopt proper and courteous driving etiquette as well as be alert of any break-in attempts in your neighbouring community.”  “This year also marks the 21st consecutive year of our involvement in this campaign, reflecting our unwavering support towards the Government’s initiatives to reduce the road mishaps rate and to improve home safety during festive season,” he adds.  Op Selamat 13/2018 continues to bring safety messages from the previous years’ campaigns where the focus encompasses the safety of Malaysian homes while the residents are away for the festive holiday. This 13th edition of the campaign - aptly themed “Rumah Selamat & Selamat Sampai ke Destinasi” will be running for two (2) weeks beginning from 8 June until 22 June 2018. For this year’s campaign, TM is contributing various necessities for 16 operation centres, for the convenience of the police officers on-duty along the roads identified as accident-prone areas. TM is also contributing car and motorcycle stickers as well as safety booklets which will be distributed to help aide public knowledge on road safety.  In fulfilling its unique role towards protecting the national interest with regards to communication infrastructure, TM also works closely with PDRM on preventive measures and initiatives towards curbing cable theft incidents, as it involves public safety particularly when it causes difficulty for local communities to communicate and seek assistance in case of emergencies.

Yayasan TM issues two requests for proposal (RFP) for Muzium Telekom Kuala Lumpur Transformation Plan 2022 - 2024; seeks interested parties to apply

Request For Proposal (RFP) On Food And Beverage (F&B) Operator At Muzium Telekom, Kuala Lumpur Yayasan TM (YTM), the foundation arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), today has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking multiple partner organisations to be part of Muzium Telekom Kuala Lumpur Transformation Plan 2022 - 2024. YTM launched The Muzium Telekom Transformation Plan with the objective to placemake the 94-year-old heritage building as an engaging public space, for education, entertainment and monetisation opportunities. "We are calling on many experts and practitioners to join forces with us in the spirit of collaboration and creativity, to curate programmes, services, activities or events that can help us to reimagine and transform Muzium Telekom as a placemaking public venue that is vibrant, educational and inclusive to everyone," said Izlyn Ramli, Director of Yayasan TM. "As the economy has opened up, public spaces and museums are seeing an increasing number of visitors looking for iconic venues and engaging activities. Muzium Telekom's differentiation is through the marriage of technology and arts, where digitalisation plays a significant role, in line with our TM Group vision as a human-centred tech company and the enabler of Digital Malaysia.  YTM will continue its ongoing mission to preserve and celebrate the nation's arts, culture & heritage, as well as supporting community sustainable livelihoods by placemaking Muzium Telekom into an engaging public digital arts space with future-forward immersive museums' exhibits and various community and micro-SME (such as retail and F&B) programmes," she added. Details are as follows: 1)    Request For Proposal (RFP) On Food And Beverage (F&B) Operator At Muzium Telekom, Kuala Lumpur YTM is seeking F&B companies who are capable to manage end-to-end F&B outlets' operations at Muzium Telekom KL. The scope will be covering F&B outlets' concept (inclusive design & build), compliance to heritage building guidelines, F&B business model and operations. There are TWO (2) F&B outlets available at Muzium Telekom whereby the interested party can choose to operate F&B outlet 1 that is located at the corner lot in the front of main road or/and F&B outlet 2 which located in the courtyard of museum. These share a common kitchen located next to outlet 2. 2)    Request Of Proposal (RFP) For The Appointment Of Museum Operator (Service Provider) For Muzium Telekom Kuala Lumpur And Telegraph Museum Taiping YTM is seeking proposals from firms / consortiums or  interested  qualified parties with experience in the museums / galleries / arts and culture / tourism or  related  experience industries  to  be  The  Museum  Operator  (Service  Provider)  for  Muzium  Telekom  Kuala  Lumpur  and  Telegraph  Museum  Taiping;  and  implement  The  Muzium   Telekom   Transformation Plan 2022-2024  By the year 2024, YTM hopes to complete the new museum experience built on the theme of "Art & Technology: Future Forward", providing access to a variety of experiences that educate, inspire and engage the public with telecommunication technologies and innovations. The new Muzium Telekom will unveil more than 27,000 sq ft of completely reimagined spaces, including its National Telecommunication Gallery, Digital Art Gallery, Museum Black Box Theater, Museum Cafe & Restaurant, Kids Discovery, Thematic Exhibition Rooms and many more.
