ONE-MONTH FREE TRIAL ON UNIFI TV’S LATEST STREAMING APP, DURIOO+
Unifi TV, the content and entertainment arm of Unifi, is offering a free one-month trial of its latest streaming app, Durioo+, during this Ramadan period. It will also be offering free access to all of its premium channels during the Raya festivities.
Durioo+ is a streaming app that produces and licenses entertaining children’s content with Islamic values, virtues and morals. With its mission to raise children with eemaan, akhlaq and ‘ilm (belief, ethics and knowledge) Durioo+ offers programmes like Mina Mila, Little Ammar, Abibi and many more – bringing safe, fun and educational content for children ages 1 to 12 years old. Offered ad-free, the free trial of this streaming app can be redeemed at unifi.com.my/raya until 30 April 2023.
Unifi TV, Malaysia’s largest single TV aggregator platform will also provide free Raya viewing of its premium channels from 21 to 27 April 2023. Filled with special programmes from channels such as Sacred Riana (DEGUP), CoCoMelon (Moonbug Kids), Running Man (ONE) and more, families will be spoilt for choice as they celebrate the festive Raya period.

Subscription to the Pack during this promo period includes the Unifi Plus Box and over 50 premium channels housing programmes from Korean variety shows, Hollywood movies, global news, kids animation and more.

TM Inks MOU With ZTE For R&D Innovation Under Latest Strategic Partnership Programme
TM, Malaysia’s leading converged telco and technology company, has today entered into a MoU with ZTE Malaysia Corporation Sdn Bhd (ZTE), a global leader in information and communication technology solutions, to collaborate on a range of research and development innovations under its latest strategic partnership programme. The partnership will leverage TM and ZTE’s joint expertise to drive innovation and digital transformation for customers and industries, focusing on R&D opportunities and commercialisation, product and technology improvement, and the enhancement of TM’s digital talent ecosystem. The collaboration will also serve as an important step towards strengthening the nation’s digital and telco infrastructure, and empower Malaysia’s competitive edge in delivering cutting-edge solutions to the marketplace. Slated to run for a period of three years, the MoU was presided over by YB Fahmi Fadzil, Minister for Communications and Digital; YB Teo Nie Ching, Deputy Minister for Communications and Digital; Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Bin Fateh Din, Chairman; and Dato’ Mohd Ali Hanafiah Mohd Yunus, Chief Operating Officer for the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission respectively. The MOU was signed by TM’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Imri Mokhtar and ZTE’s Managing Director, Mr. Steven Ge. Building on TM and ZTE’s ongoing investments and commitment to R&D and innovation, the partnership aims to deliver new products and services, with TM serving as ZTE’s preferred business partner to deploy innovative solutions, go-to-market strategies, commercialisation, and networking across various markets and customer segments in Malaysia and regionally. The companies will also work on network and technology planning and overall digital transformation by bringing together Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Anything as a Service (XaaS) providers to develop customised end-to-end solutions for various industry sectors. Aside from technological developments and aligning with TM’s transformation as a human-centred TechCo, the collaboration will focus on enhancing TM's digital talent ecosystem, covering areas such as talent competency best practices, professional competency framework, technical training and certifications for digital transformation, as well as cross-border knowledge sharing on new technologies. TM Activates Relief Measures for Customers and Communities Affected by Putra Heights Fire Incident
Kuala Lumpur, 4 April 2025 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “the Group”) expresses its deepest sympathies to all individuals and families affected by the recent fire incident caused by a pipeline burst in Putra Heights. TM’s technical teams are ready and committed to immediately restore services and rebuild any affected network infrastructure in stages, based on the severity of the damage. Restoration work will commence as soon as clearance is granted by BOMBA and the relevant authorities. At the same time, the Group is rolling out a series of immediate relief and recovery measures to support impacted customers and the Putra Heights community, including: Waiver of Unifi Home bills for a minimum of one month, depending on the progress of network restoration, to ease the financial burden on affected customers. Credit term extension to 60 days with no service suspension. Free replacement of Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) such as routers, modems, or mesh devices that may have been damaged. Free on-site support (OSS) and standard internal wiring. Priority assistance for Unifi Home and SME customers via our customer support line at 100. Complimentary WiFi at the temporary evacuation centres (PPS) to ensure uninterrupted communication and continued access to essential services. Additionally, Yayasan TM, the Group’s social impact foundation, will be extending humanitarian aid and providing essential supplies to affected families through the GLC Demi Rakyat & Negara (GDRN) collective efforts. Amar Huzaimi Md Deris, TM’s Group Chief Executive Officer said, “We extend our heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by this incident. We are mobilising all necessary resources to restore services swiftly and provide immediate relief to our impacted customers and communities.
