TM ONE-USIM COLLABORATION TO ENHANCE UNIVERSITY’S DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND IMPROVE DIGITAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES
TM One, the business-to-business arm of TM, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) for a strategic partnership to enhance the university’s digital transformation and improve student experiences in digital learning.
Officiated on 6 March, the MOU was signed by Professor Dato’ Dr. Sharifudin Md. Shaarani, Vice Chancellor of USIM and Shazurawati Abd Karim, Executive Vice President, TM One.
To support USIM’s smart innovation journey, the partnership will be anchored on three (3) pillars, namely: the co-creation of an innovation ecosystem, talent development, and the sharing of insights on higher education and business trends – with the goal of developing USIM into a smart university.
Developing these pillars will allow USIM to pave its way towards a more seamless digital learning experience and improve its student experience processes. This includes online examinations, IT integration, security of sensitive data and intellectual property, smart solutions on campus, and end-to-end mobility solutions. Most importantly, this partnership will enable a more collaborative learning approach between USIM’s faculty and students, aligning the university to the needs of today’s global learners.
Professor Dato’ Dr. Sharifudin said, ”We are pleased to partner TM One in inculcating a data-first and digital-first mindset among our students, faculty and staff, which aligns us with the goals of MyDIGITAL and the Government’s digital aspirations. Drawing on its broad range of solutions, TM One will support USIM’s digital transformation plan in five (5) different clusters; Smart Governance, Smart Infrastructure, Smart Services, Smart Learning and Smart Lifestyle.

TM ONE PARTNERS MINISTRY OF EDUCATION TO ELEVATE DIGITAL SKILLS THROUGH TVET PROGRAMS
KUALA LUMPUR, 30 October 2024 – TM One, TM’s enterprise and Government sector business solutions arm, has announced a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education (MOE) to enhance Malaysia’s digital competencies, equipping students and educators from vocational colleges and secondary schools with essential digital skills that align with industry standards. The partnership, which was recently formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MOE’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Division, targets critical areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, cybersecurity, and smart agriculture solutions. These initiatives will benefit both students and educators, ensuring Malaysia’s future workforce is ready to meet the demands of the digital economy. Gamuda Land and TM embark on strategic collaboration on converged telecommunications services for Gamuda Gardens
Sungai Buloh: Gamuda Land and Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), via its business solutions arm, TM ONE, today inked a strategic collaboration at Gamuda Gardens sales gallery for the deployment of converged telecommunications services at Precinct 1 & Precinct 2 including Gaia Residences, the first service apartments at Gamuda Gardens. Through this collaboration, approximately 1,500 units of residences in Gamuda Gardens will enjoy a 2-year complimentary unifi high speed internet service of 100Mbps; which will be upgraded to a higher bandwidth upon vacant possession (VP) of their homes.
