TM One shifts to higher gear with the launch of its 10 transformative smart solutions
The Smart Industry Showcase testament of TM One’s capabilities to accelerate Digital Nation aspirations
TM One, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), reaffirms its commitment to catapult Malaysian industries moving towards Industrial Revolution (IR) 4.0 with the launch of its ten (10) transformative smart solutions.
The smart solutions were launched by Imri Mokhtar, Chief Operating Officer, TM in conjunction with TM One's Smart Industry showcase today. Also present at the event were Ir. Ts Azizi A. Hadi, Chief Executive Officer, TM One and TM One's management team.
Imri also officially launched the Smart Industry Showcase which took place at Menara TM, for two (2) days, from 21 and 22 August 2019, carrying the tagline "Transformation Through Intelligence", and gives visitors to experience first-hand TM One's IoT capabilities in a real industrial and smart city setting.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Imri said, "Today, TM through TM One marks an exciting milestone in boosting Malaysia within the Industrial Revolution 4.0, with the launch of our 10 transformative smart solutions. UniSZA embarks on a digital transformation journey with TM One dedicated premium network connectivity
TM One Hyperconnected Ecosystem provides end-to-end digital solutions that enables Education 4.0 for Malaysian higher learning institution TM One, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) today inked a service agreement with Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) for the provision of new high speed capacity for internet connectivity via TM One Direct Internet Access and Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IPVPN), a dedicated premium network service. Under the agreement, TM One will provide new high speed capacity to UniSZA with dedicated and seamless connectivity at UniSZA campus in Gong Badak, Tembila campus in Besut and its Medical Campus in Kuala Terengganu. The enhanced connectivity will provide the university with faster access hence enriching the Internet experience for the campus community consisting of more than 13,000 students. The upgrade is part of UniSZA’s digital transformation journey towards embracing the Industry 4.0 revolution and further improving the university’s operational efficiencies. Commenting on the latest collaboration, Tuan Haji Rosli said, “TM One, is proud and excited to be the enabler of Hyperconnected Ecosystem for UniSZA’s digital transformation journey towards Education 4.0 in preparing the next generation of workforce for the nation. TM and Cybersecurity Malaysia join forces to strengthen national cyberspace resilience
Both companies will leverage each other’s expertise, technical capabilities and global best practices to create a safer and more robust cyber ecosystem. Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) via its enterprise and public sector business solutions arm, TM ONE, today sealed a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) with CyberSecurity Malaysia, the national cybersecurity specialist agency under the purview of the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (KKMM), to empower and strengthen the level of cybersecurity in Malaysia. The MoC was signed in a virtual event by Dato' Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab FASc, Chief Executive Officer, CyberSecurity Malaysia and Imri Mokhtar, Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO), TM. The ceremony was witnessed by General Tan Sri Dato' Seri Panglima Mohd Azumi Mohamed (Retired) Chairman of the Board of Directors, CyberSecurity Malaysia and Tan Sri Dato' Seri Mohd Bakke Salleh, Chairman of TM. The event was also graced by the presence of YB Dato' Saifuddin Abdullah, Minister of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia.
