TM catalyses data-driven transformation journey for Malaysian businesses with LEAP Summit 2018
Accelerating Digital Transformation Through Intelligence
TM ONE, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) today organised its inaugural LEAP Summit 2018 with the theme – “Transformation Through Intelligence. Are You Ready?”. In line with the recently launched National Policy on Industry 4.0, known as Industry4WRD by the Prime Minister, the summit was aimed at providing a platform for the Enterprise and Public Sector segments to share their dynamic thoughts and experiences in the industry. The delegates also gained insights on how innovations in digitisation, analytics, artificial intelligence and automation can create vast opportunities for businesses, industry makers and the economy as the country takes the leap into becoming a digital nation.

Most interestingly, the summit featured Vito Di Bari, the Futurist and the ‘New European Guru of Innovation’, who delivered the keynote address on “Navigate to Accelerate Your Business Transformation in the Digital Age”. TM ONE launched its state-of-the-art IPDC located in Nusajaya Technology Park, Iskandar Puteri, Johor in November 2017. The Klang Valley Data Centre (KVDC) which is currently under construction is set to complete TM ONE’s ‘Twin Core’ and hybrid cloud strategy to enable businesses to realise the full potential of their digital opportunities. The KVDC will be ready for service by end of December 2018.

TM ONE COLLABORATES WITH PLANMALAYSIA TO ACCELERATE LOCAL SMART CITIES
KUALA LUMPUR, 29 NOVEMBER 2023 – TM One, the enterprise and government sector business solutions arm of TM, has entered into a collaboration with PLANMalaysia to enable local city councils harness smart innovations and create sustainable, efficient, and connected urban communities. The collaboration is the next phase in TM One’s efforts to accelerate the nation’s smart city aspirations and improve urban living across the country. As part of this collaboration, 29 local councils that were awarded as part of the Malaysia Smart City Recognition Programme during World Town Planning Day 2023, will have access to TM One’s Proof of Concept trials (POCs). Among our recent success stories were Smart City projects in Ipoh, Pengerang, Seberang Prai, Kulai, Port Dickson and Subang Jaya, which experienced reduced time in traffic, lower carbon emissions, and improved response efficiency through solutions such as TM One’s Smart Traffic Management and Smart Surveillance.” Building on these successes, TM One will be offering POCs for the following services: 1. Unified Enforcement System – automation and insight analysis of various local council operation enforcement services that help local councils manage larger communities better; 2. Smart City App – a one stop app for local councils’ e-government services; and 3. Smart Workforce – a system that helps local councils manage field teams in real-time. These services will help councils in their journey towards becoming full-fledged smart cities, as well as improve overall efficiency in their operations and services to their communities. “Through these POCs, we aim to help the government implement Smart Services in more locations, bringing these technologies closer to everyday Malaysians and improving their way of life. TM set to empower educational institution in Penang with dedicated premium network connectivity and smart school system solution
Smart collaboration with Wesley Methodist School Penang International elevates the institution to become the 1st school in Malaysia with an integrated digital lifestyle Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) via its business solutions arm, TM ONE recently signed a Collaboration Agreement with Wesley Methodist School Penang (International) (WMSP(I)) for the deployment and provisioning of TM’s dedicated premium network connectivity namely DOME service. Under the collaboration, TM will also be provisioning TM’s smart school system solution to the school and the total solution includes the School Management System (SMS), Learning Management System (LMS) and School Attendance System (SAS).
