TM catalyses data-driven transformation journey for Malaysian businesses with LEAP Summit 2018
Accelerating Digital Transformation Through Intelligence
TM ONE, the enterprise and public sector business solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) today organised its inaugural LEAP Summit 2018 with the theme – “Transformation Through Intelligence. Are You Ready?”. In line with the recently launched National Policy on Industry 4.0, known as Industry4WRD by the Prime Minister, the summit was aimed at providing a platform for the Enterprise and Public Sector segments to share their dynamic thoughts and experiences in the industry. The delegates also gained insights on how innovations in digitisation, analytics, artificial intelligence and automation can create vast opportunities for businesses, industry makers and the economy as the country takes the leap into becoming a digital nation.

Throughout the one (1) day event, delegates of LEAP Summit 2018 were able to discover perspectives on global trends, business innovation strategy, Big Data analytics, artificial intelligence and smart cities through talks and panel discussion by local and international experts. Most interestingly, the summit featured Vito Di Bari, the Futurist and the ‘New European Guru of Innovation’, who delivered the keynote address on “Navigate to Accelerate Your Business Transformation in the Digital Age”. TM ONE launched its state-of-the-art IPDC located in Nusajaya Technology Park, Iskandar Puteri, Johor in November 2017. The Klang Valley Data Centre (KVDC) which is currently under construction is set to complete TM ONE’s ‘Twin Core’ and hybrid cloud strategy to enable businesses to realise the full potential of their digital opportunities. The KVDC will be ready for service by end of December 2018.

TM One Smart Healthcare solutions to enhance digital patient experience at Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care
Malaysia’s first healthcare provider to leverage TM One Smart Patient Suite solution TM One, the enterprise and government sector solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), today inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care (“RSDH”) to collaborate on Smart Healthcare and other business solutions for the RSDH group of hospitals. The MoU was signed by Shazurawati Abd Karim, Executive Vice President of TM One, and Peter Hong, Group Chief Executive Officer, RSDH. Aimed at improving patient experience and enabling innovative transformation for essential in-patient services, the collaboration marks the first in Malaysia to leverage TM One’s Smart Patient Suite solution, by harnessing the power of the Internet of Things (IoT) to provide automation and surround control. TM set to empower educational institution in Penang with dedicated premium network connectivity and smart school system solution
Smart collaboration with Wesley Methodist School Penang International elevates the institution to become the 1st school in Malaysia with an integrated digital lifestyle Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) via its business solutions arm, TM ONE recently signed a Collaboration Agreement with Wesley Methodist School Penang (International) (WMSP(I)) for the deployment and provisioning of TM’s dedicated premium network connectivity namely DOME service. Under the collaboration, TM will also be provisioning TM’s smart school system solution to the school and the total solution includes the School Management System (SMS), Learning Management System (LMS) and School Attendance System (SAS). Kelvin Lee Tsuan Chin, State General Manager of TM Penang and Badrul Hisham Besri, Senior Director - Education & Healthcare, TM ONE signed the Collaboration Agreement on behalf of TM while WMSPI was represented by Dato’ Chin Lean Keat, Chairman of WMSP(I) Board of Management, and Dato’ Jerry Chan Fook Sing, Co-chairman of WMSP(I) Building Committee Task Force.
