Sultan Pahang berangkat saksikan pameran TM Future Skills di Tioman
PULAU TIOMAN, 28 Jun - Sultan Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah hari ini berangkat menyaksikan pameran kemajuan program TM Future Skills (TMFS) di Pulau Tioman, yang memberi tumpuan kepada pembangunan murid melalui STEM, kemahiran digital dan sukan pelayaran.
Program anjuran Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) melalui Yayasan TM itu melibatkan murid daripada keempat-empat sekolah di pulau berkenaan, iaitu SK Tekek, SK Juara, SK Mukut dan SMK Tekek, yang merupakan sebahagian daripada 35 sekolah angkat TMFS di seluruh negara.
Semasa majlis tersebut, Baginda turut berkenan menyaksikan sendiri demonstrasi projek STEM dan digital oleh para pelajar daripada sekolah-sekolah berkenaan, termasuk aplikasi robotik, teknologi hijau, reka cipta dan penyelesaian masalah secara praktikal, selain simbolik penyerahan peralatan luncur angin bagi menyokong pembangunan bakat pelayaran di Tioman.
Ketua Pegawai Korporat TM, Nor Fadhilah Mohd Ali berkata TMFS memberi tumpuan kepada pembangunan murid secara menyeluruh, bagi membentuk pelajar yang seimbang. Komponen penting TMFS adalah STEM, kemahiran digital, kokurikulum, sukan dan pembentukan sahsiah.
“TM Future Skills bukan hanya memberi tumpuan kepada pencapaian akademik, tetapi turut membantu membina keyakinan diri, disiplin, kreativiti, pemikiran kritis dan kerja berpasukan dalam kalangan murid.
Bagi komponen STEM dan kemahiran digital, syarikat berkenaan menyediakan ruang digital di sekolah-sekolah terlibat, selain membekalkan peralatan STEM dan komputer riba sebagai asas kepada pembelajaran yang lebih praktikal. Pelajar turut diberi pendedahan dalam bidang seperti kecerdasan buatan, pengekodan, percetakan 3D dan robotik.
“Di Tioman, pendekatan ini menjadi lebih bermakna kerana kita dapat menggabungkan pembelajaran STEM dan digital dengan kekuatan semula jadi pulau ini, termasuk pembangunan bakat cilik dalam sukan pelayaran. Dalam hal ini, TM telah menyediakan lapan set papan luncur angin Techno 293, 60 jaket keselamatan air dan 120 pasang pakaian pasukan untuk keempat-empat sekolah, termasuk pembinaan laluan gelincir baharu di SK Mukut yang telah siap pada Mei 2026.
“Sebagai sebuah syarikat yang sedang memacu aspirasi menjadi sebuah Digital Powerhouse, TM juga mahu memainkan peranan dalam membangunkan bakat digital negara, bermula di peringkat sekolah," katanya.

Request For Proposal (RFP) On Food And Beverage (F&B) Operator At Muzium Telekom, Kuala Lumpur Yayasan TM (YTM), the foundation arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), today has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking multiple partner organisations to be part of Muzium Telekom Kuala Lumpur Transformation Plan 2022 - 2024. YTM launched The Muzium Telekom Transformation Plan with the objective to placemake the 94-year-old heritage building as an engaging public space, for education, entertainment and monetisation opportunities. "We are calling on many experts and practitioners to join forces with us in the spirit of collaboration and creativity, to curate programmes, services, activities or events that can help us to reimagine and transform Muzium Telekom as a placemaking public venue that is vibrant, educational and inclusive to everyone," said Izlyn Ramli, Director of Yayasan TM. "As the economy has opened up, public spaces and museums are seeing an increasing number of visitors looking for iconic venues and engaging activities. Muzium Telekom's differentiation is through the marriage of technology and arts, where digitalisation plays a significant role, in line with our TM Group vision as a human-centred tech company and the enabler of Digital Malaysia. Befitting the times, YTM aims to reinvigorate this beautiful historic building as an engaging hub that connect the dots across the many facets within the TM Group and beyond, to include the industry and overall ecosystem. Within TM Group, it aims to showcase talents from Multimedia University (MMU) students, alumni and faculty in digital, creative and cinematic arts as well as TM's heritage and innovation in telecommunications. Concurrently, this is extended to the rich ecosystem of collaboration partners in the same fields. In 2018, YTM launched the Telegraph Museum, Taiping graced by HRH the Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah. This unique and niche museum features the history of the country's telegraph communications system including its maiden breakthrough in Taiping, Perak and how technology has contributed to the development of the nation. Both Muzium Telekom Kuala Lumpur and Telegraph Museum Taiping aim to be key resources for students, researchers and the communities to deepen their understanding on the complex telecommunications industry and how it has contributed to both nationbuilding and the world telecommunication history. YTM is calling for interested parties to participate in two (2) RFPs issued earlier. Details are as follows: 1) Request For Proposal (RFP) On Food And Beverage (F&B) Operator At Muzium Telekom, Kuala Lumpur YTM is seeking F&B companies who are capable to manage end-to-end F&B outlets' operations at Muzium Telekom KL. The scope will be covering F&B outlets' concept (inclusive design & build), compliance to heritage building guidelines, F&B business model and operations. There are TWO (2) F&B outlets available at Muzium Telekom whereby the interested party can choose to operate F&B outlet 1 that is located at the corner lot in the front of main road or/and F&B outlet 2 which located in the courtyard of museum. These share a common kitchen located next to outlet 2. 2) Request Of Proposal (RFP) For The Appointment Of Museum Operator (Service Provider) For Muzium Telekom Kuala Lumpur And Telegraph Museum Taiping YTM is seeking proposals from firms / consortiums or interested qualified parties with experience in the museums / galleries / arts and culture / tourism or related experience industries to be The Museum Operator (Service Provider) for Muzium Telekom Kuala Lumpur and Telegraph Museum Taiping; and implement The Muzium Telekom Transformation Plan 2022-2024 By the year 2024, YTM hopes to complete the new museum experience built on the theme of "Art & Technology: Future Forward", providing access to a variety of experiences that educate, inspire and engage the public with telecommunication technologies and innovations. The new Muzium Telekom will unveil more than 27,000 sq ft of completely reimagined spaces, including its National Telecommunication Gallery, Digital Art Gallery, Museum Black Box Theater, Museum Cafe & Restaurant, Kids Discovery, Thematic Exhibition Rooms and many more. TM One Smart Healthcare solutions to enhance digital patient experience at Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care
Malaysia’s first healthcare provider to leverage TM One Smart Patient Suite solution TM One, the enterprise and government sector solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), today inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care (“RSDH”) to collaborate on Smart Healthcare and other business solutions for the RSDH group of hospitals. The MoU was signed by Shazurawati Abd Karim, Executive Vice President of TM One, and Peter Hong, Group Chief Executive Officer, RSDH. Aimed at improving patient experience and enabling innovative transformation for essential in-patient services, the collaboration marks the first in Malaysia to leverage TM One’s Smart Patient Suite solution, by harnessing the power of the Internet of Things (IoT) to provide automation and surround control. Shazurawati Abd Karim, Executive Vice President, TM One said, “We are honoured to be working with RSDH to serve as the enabler of their next advantage today and tomorrow, bringing Malaysian healthcare and digital progress for all. The Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), will empower healthcare providers with data and analytics to improve the quality of patient care while maximising operational efficiency,” added Shazurawati. This two-year collaboration with RSDH follows the launch of TM One’s Sphere Programme, which brings together Malaysia’s leading technology and smart solution partners to create an ecosystem that will help springboard enterprise and government sector innovative transformation. TM STARTS 2026 WITH GROWTH MOMENTUM; REVENUE UP 2.9%, UNDERLYING PATAMI GREW 9.3%
KUALA LUMPUR, 21 MAY 2026 – Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM” or “the Group”) today announced its financial results for the first quarter ended 31 March 2026 (1Q 2026), reporting revenue growth of 2.9% to RM2.93 billion compared to the same period last year. This reflects a strong start to the year and sustained momentum across all business segments, spearheaded by Business to Consumer (B2C) and Carrier to Carrier (C2C).During the quarter, the Group recognised a one-off adjustment of RM127.3 million related to the write-down of unutilised prepaid capacity under the current 5G access agreement, following the announcement made in February.Excluding this and other one-off items, the Group’s underlying Profit After Tax and Non-Controlling Interests (PATAMI) grew 9.3% to RM436.3 million. On the back of this strong core performance, TM declared a dividend of 6.5 sen per share, representing 78% of reported PATAMI for the quarter.1Q 2026 Group Financial Highlights (vs 1Q 2025):Operating Revenue: Increased 2.9% to RM2.93 billion, driven by growth across all major business segments.Underlying Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT): Grew 6.3% to RM593.3 million, excluding one-off items. This reflects strong core operational performance and proactive move to unlock future efficiencies through a leaner cost structure.Underlying PATAMI: Increased 9.3% to RM436.3 million after adjusting for one-off items.
