Rosli bin Man
Rosli Man has more than 32 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, before he resigned as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) in 2008.
Since then, he has immersed himself in consultation works before returning to TM as its Non-Independent NonExecutive Chairman on 3 December 2018.
He first joined the telecommunication industry in Jabatan Telekom Malaysia in 1976 as Assistant Controller where he gained wide exposure in telecommunication services including the task to implement the country’s first mobile telecommunication service, i.e. ATUR 450. He then moved to the private sector by joining the Fleet group as its Group Manager, Technical Services in 1985. From 1988 to 1996, he was instrumental in setting up the first privately owned telecommunications company in Malaysia, the then Celcom (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Celcom), catering to the cellular telecommunication business.
He left Celcom as its President in 1996 to join Prismanet Sdn Bhd as Managing Director and held the position until November 1998. In July 2000, he joined Natrindo Telpon Sellular (NTS), the GSM 1800 cellular operator in East Java, Indonesia as Chief Operating Officer. He left NTS in January 2002.
Y.Bhg. Datuk Bazlan Osman
Datuk Bazlan, a Malaysian, was appointed Non-Independent Executive Director of TM on 25 April 2008 and was TM’s ED/Group Chief Financial Officer until 31 March 2017. He was then appointed ED/Deputy Group CEO of TM effective 1 April 2017 and was recently appointed Acting Group CEO of TM effective 6 June 2018.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK and a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He was a member of the Issues Committee of the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board from 2006 until 2010. He has attended the IMD Programme for Senior Executives in 2008 and the Strategic Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School in 2013.
He began his career as an auditor with a public accounting firm in 1986. He served the Sime Darby Group, holding various finance positions in its corporate offices in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Melaka from 1989 to 1993. He then had a stint with American Express Malaysia Berhad before joining Kumpulan FIMA Berhad in 1994, where he was subsequently appointed Senior Vice President (SVP), Finance/Company Secretary. He joined Celcom Axiata Berhad in 2001 as the SVP, Corporate Finance and Treasury and was appointed the CFO in 2002 prior to his appointment as TM Group CFO in 2005. He currently sits on the board of several subsidiaries of TM Group including VADS Berhad, Webe Digital Sdn Bhd including as chairman of Fiberail Sdn Bhd and GITN Sdn Bhd. He is also a director of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDEC) and a member of UniKL Industrial Advisory Board
In 2016, Datuk Bazlan was awarded Best CFO (Malaysia) at the 10th Annual Alpha Southeast Asia Institutional Investor-Corporate Awards as well as CFO of the Year (Excellence in Financial Planning & Analysis) at the 5th Annual CFO Innovation Awards, on top of the many other accolades given to TM in the fields under his purview.
Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Abd Ghafar bin Mahmud
Obtained his Diploma in Education from the University of Malaya in 1973.
Degree In Literature (Malay Studies) from the University of Malaya in 1976.
Masters In Education from the University of East Anglia Norwich, England in 1997.
Tan Sri Dato Abd Ghafar served in the government service for 36 years and during his tenure, he held positions including the Director General of Education and was involved as a committee member of numerous Boards and Registered Bodies at Ministerial, National and International levels.
He was conferred many honorary awards namely Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP), Pingat Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP), and Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) which carries the title "Tan Sri" by DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong in 2012.

Obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronics, from the University of Liverpool, Masters in Science (Telecommunications Engineering) from University of Birmingham, United Kingdom and Doctorate in Engineering (Telecommunication) from the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
He also obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Ohio, United States.
He has attended the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program (AMP) and also the Senior Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, United States.

Dato' Rafa'ai Samsi

Dato’ Rafa’ai started his career in telecommunications with the then Jabatan Telekom Malaysia in 1978. He was later appointed CEO of TM - NTT Communications
Corporation’s joint venture (JV) company in July 1997 before returning to TM in July 2001, where he was assigned as General Manager of a number of divisions including State Business Operations, Market Development and Domestic Carrier Business Division.
He was then appointed Vice President, Marketing and Sales for the Wholesale segment in October 2006 and subsequently promoted to Executive Vice President to lead the Wholesale Line of Business on 1 July 2008.
Dato’ Rafa’ai was assigned as Deputy Chief Technology & Innovation Officer (CTIO) to run the day-to-day operations and turnaround initiatives of the IT and Network Technology Division since January 2013.
He was appointed as Head of Customer Experience Management and Transformation reporting directly to Group CEO on 1 July 2014 and remained as the Deputy CTIO.
He was also the Chairman of Service Management Council (SMC) responsible for TM’s overall customer service management.
In addition to his current role as the CCX, Dato’ Rafa’ai was appointed as CTIO effective 18 February 2017.
Mohd Farid Shah Mohd Basir
Appointed as TM’s Chief Human Capital Officer effective 1 October 2018. He first commenced his career at TM in 1994, gaining extensive experience over the following seven years in the fields of human resources’ policy, planning, training and development. As a former TM scholar, Farid holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Human Resource Management and a Diploma in Business Management from Universiti Teknologi Mara. He has also attained a Professional Diploma in Development and Training from Universiti Malaya.
Farid is an alumnus of the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland – a top business school in Europe and the Cambridge Islamic Finance Programme.
Prior to rejoining TM, he was the Chief Human Capital Officer at Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd, a position he held for almost three years. He also brings along valuable and various HR-related experience, having served with local and multinational companies, like Etiqa General Takaful Bhd and Nestle S.A. During his 11-year tenure at Nestle, Farid took on several key positions and assignments abroad, continentally at its home-base Switzerland and South Africa, and regionally, in the Philippines.
Professionally, Farid has garnered four top global certifications, namely HRCIHR Management Professional, HRCI-Global HR Professional, SHRM-Senior Certified Professional and Global Remuneration Professional. Other international recognitions under his belt include “Upcoming Personality in Islamic Finance 2017” award and “Chief Human Resource Officer of the Year” award, conferred at the Global Islamic Finance Awards 2017 held in Kazakhstan and at the World HRD Congress 2018 held in Mumbai, respectively.
Izlyn Amylia Binti Mohamed Ramli
Holds a Masters in Business Administration (Distinction) from the City University (CASS).
Business School London specialising in Strategic Management of Technology and E-Business and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics from the University College London.
Izlyn Ramli, started her career in Pricewaterhouse Coopers before moving to BzW Capital as an Investment Analyst.
She joined TM in 1998 and served 10 years in the Group Strategy and Planning Division, where she was appointed as the Special Assistant to the TM Group Chairman.
Throughout her tenure, she plays the role of a key TM Liaison Officer for international forums and organisations such as APEC, APEC Advisory Council and United Nations Global Alliance, focusing on ICT Development.
Following the demerger exercise in 2008, she joined Axiata Group Bhd as the Head of the Corporate Communications Division.
She returned to TM as the Vice President of the Group Corporate Communications Division on 1 October 2010, before being appointed as the Vice President of Group Brand and Communication Division effective 1 June 2014.
