Rosli Bin Man

  • Rosli Man has more than 32 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, before he resigned as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) in 2008.
  • Since then, he has immersed himself in consultation works before returning to TM as its Non-Independent NonExecutive Chairman on 3 December 2018.


Y.Bhg. Dato' Noor Kamarul Anuar Bin Nuruddin

  • Dato’ Noor Kamarul, a Malaysian, is TM’s Managing Director/Group Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director and a Non-Independent Executive Director appointed on 13 June 2019.
  • He has more than 34 years of experience in the telecommunication industry, having progressively challenge and successfully managed telecommunication networks and services in Malaysia and Indonesia, with focus on fixed and mobile networks and mobile broadband services. He has led the strategy, planning and implementation of projects ranging from greenfield network, 3G, 4G to merger of cellular networks. He was part of the senior management team in driving the turnaround of Celcom Axiata Berhad’s (Celcom) performance with an achievement of 31 quarters of consecutive growth.
  • Dato’ Noor Kamarul started his career in telecommunication in TM in 1983 as Assistant Controller of Telecommunication and held various positions in TM until 1991. 

Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato' Seri  Abd Ghafar bin Mahmud

  • Obtained his Diploma in Education from the University of Malaya in 1973.
  • Degree In Literature (Malay Studies) from the University of Malaya in 1976.
  • Masters In Education from the University of East Anglia Norwich, England in 1997.
  • Tan Sri Dato Abd Ghafar served in the government service for 36 years and during his tenure, he held positions including the Director General of Education and was involved as a committee member of numerous Boards and Registered Bodies at Ministerial, National and International levels.
  • He was conferred many honorary awards namely Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP), Pingat Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP), and Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) which carries the title "Tan Sri" by DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong in 2012.


Y.Bhg. Dato' Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahim bin Hj Daud

  • Obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronics, from the University of Liverpool, Masters in Science (Telecommunications Engineering) from University of Birmingham, United Kingdom and Doctorate in Engineering (Telecommunication) from the University of Bath, United Kingdom. 
  • He also obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Ohio, United States. 
  • He has attended the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program (AMP) and also the Senior Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, United States.
  • Joined Jabatan Telekom Malaysia (JTM) as a Telecommunications Engineer in 1973.

Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Datu Prof. Dr. Haji Mohamad Taha Arif

  • MBBS degree, University of Malaya in 1974
  • Awarded a British Council scholarship to read Public Health at the University of Glasgow
  • Awarded “2004 World No Tobacco Day award to Individual” by the Regional Director, Western Pacific Region, WHO.
  • Honoured by University of Malaysia Sarawak with Doctor of Science even before he joined as a faculty member
  • Honoured by the Asia Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health with the APACPH Public Health Recognition Award
  • Born in Sarawak and spent his early career as a medical officer serving in the rural areas of Sarawak. In 1979.
  • State Director of Health of Negeri Sembilan, Kelantan and Sarawak
  • Director of the Institute of Medical Research (IMR)


Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Samsinar Md Sidin

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Western Michigan University.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA), University of Arkansas, USA.
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration, University of Arkansas, USA.
  • Graduated with honours (Cum Laude) and the recipient of the Wall Street Journal Award for Best Student in Economics.
  • Graduated in the top five and was nominated to represent University of Arkansas for the George Hay Brown Award for excellence in Marketing at graduate level in her MBA program.
  • Extensive teaching experience in Marketing and Management at undergraduate and graduate levels.


Dato' Rafa'ai Samsi

  • Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Electronic Engineering from Brighton University, UK.
  • Masters in Communications Management from the University of Strathclyde, UK.
  • Dato’ Rafa’ai started his career in telecommunications with the then Jabatan Telekom Malaysia in 1978. He was later appointed CEO of TM - NTT Communications
  • Corporation’s joint venture (JV) company in July 1997 before returning to TM in July 2001, where he was assigned as General Manager of a number of divisions including State Business Operations, Market Development and Domestic Carrier Business Division.
  • He was then appointed Vice President, Marketing and Sales for the Wholesale segment in October 2006 and subsequently promoted to Executive Vice President to lead the Wholesale Line of Business on 1 July 2008.


Mohd Farid Shah Mohd Basir

  • Appointed as TM’s Chief Human Capital Officer effective 1 October 2018. He first commenced his career at TM in 1994, gaining extensive experience over the following seven years in the fields of human resources’ policy, planning, training and development. As a former TM scholar, Farid holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Human Resource Management and a Diploma in Business Management from Universiti Teknologi Mara. He has also attained a Professional Diploma in Development and Training from Universiti Malaya.
  • Farid is an alumnus of the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland – a top business school in Europe and the Cambridge Islamic Finance Programme.
