Rosli bin Man
Rosli Man has more than 32 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, before he resigned as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) in 2008.
Since then, he has immersed himself in consultation works before returning to TM as its Non-Independent NonExecutive Chairman on 3 December 2018.
He first joined the telecommunication industry in Jabatan Telekom Malaysia in 1976 as Assistant Controller where he gained wide exposure in telecommunication services including the task to implement the country’s first mobile telecommunication service, i.e. ATUR 450. He then moved to the private sector by joining the Fleet group as its Group Manager, Technical Services in 1985. From 1988 to 1996, he was instrumental in setting up the first privately owned telecommunications company in Malaysia, the then Celcom (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Celcom), catering to the cellular telecommunication business.
He left Celcom as its President in 1996 to join Prismanet Sdn Bhd as Managing Director and held the position until November 1998. In July 2000, he joined Natrindo Telpon Sellular (NTS), the GSM 1800 cellular operator in East Java, Indonesia as Chief Operating Officer. He left NTS in January 2002.
Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Abd Ghafar bin Mahmud
Obtained his Diploma in Education from the University of Malaya in 1973.
Degree In Literature (Malay Studies) from the University of Malaya in 1976.
Masters In Education from the University of East Anglia Norwich, England in 1997.
Tan Sri Dato Abd Ghafar served in the government service for 36 years and during his tenure, he held positions including the Director General of Education and was involved as a committee member of numerous Boards and Registered Bodies at Ministerial, National and International levels.
He was conferred many honorary awards namely Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP), Pingat Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP), and Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) which carries the title "Tan Sri" by DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong in 2012.

Obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Electronics, from the University of Liverpool, Masters in Science (Telecommunications Engineering) from University of Birmingham, United Kingdom and Doctorate in Engineering (Telecommunication) from the University of Bath, United Kingdom.
He also obtained a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Ohio, United States.
He has attended the Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program (AMP) and also the Senior Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, United States.
Joined Jabatan Telekom Malaysia (JTM) as a Telecommunications Engineer in 1973.

Dato' Rafa'ai Samsi

Dato’ Rafa’ai started his career in telecommunications with the then Jabatan Telekom Malaysia in 1978. He was later appointed CEO of TM - NTT Communications
Corporation’s joint venture (JV) company in July 1997 before returning to TM in July 2001, where he was assigned as General Manager of a number of divisions including State Business Operations, Market Development and Domestic Carrier Business Division.
He was then appointed Vice President, Marketing and Sales for the Wholesale segment in October 2006 and subsequently promoted to Executive Vice President to lead the Wholesale Line of Business on 1 July 2008.
Dato’ Rafa’ai was assigned as Deputy Chief Technology & Innovation Officer (CTIO) to run the day-to-day operations and turnaround initiatives of the IT and Network Technology Division since January 2013.
He was appointed as Head of Customer Experience Management and Transformation reporting directly to Group CEO on 1 July 2014 and remained as the Deputy CTIO.
He was also the Chairman of Service Management Council (SMC) responsible for TM’s overall customer service management.
In addition to his current role as the CCX, Dato’ Rafa’ai was appointed as CTIO effective 18 February 2017.
Mohd Farid Shah Mohd Basir
Appointed as TM’s Chief Human Capital Officer effective 1 October 2018. He first commenced his career at TM in 1994, gaining extensive experience over the following seven years in the fields of human resources’ policy, planning, training and development. As a former TM scholar, Farid holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Human Resource Management and a Diploma in Business Management from Universiti Teknologi Mara. He has also attained a Professional Diploma in Development and Training from Universiti Malaya.
Farid is an alumnus of the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland – a top business school in Europe and the Cambridge Islamic Finance Programme.
Prior to rejoining TM, he was the Chief Human Capital Officer at Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd, a position he held for almost three years. He also brings along valuable and various HR-related experience, having served with local and multinational companies, like Etiqa General Takaful Bhd and Nestle S.A. During his 11-year tenure at Nestle, Farid took on several key positions and assignments abroad, continentally at its home-base Switzerland and South Africa, and regionally, in the Philippines.
Professionally, Farid has garnered four top global certifications, namely HRCIHR Management Professional, HRCI-Global HR Professional, SHRM-Senior Certified Professional and Global Remuneration Professional. Other international recognitions under his belt include “Upcoming Personality in Islamic Finance 2017” award and “Chief Human Resource Officer of the Year” award, conferred at the Global Islamic Finance Awards 2017 held in Kazakhstan and at the World HRD Congress 2018 held in Mumbai, respectively.
