Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr. Sulaiman bin Mahbob
Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr Sulaiman, was appointed Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of TM on 12 January 2015.
He graduated with a Degree in Economics at the University of Malaya in 1971.
He then obtained his Master of Science from University of London in 1977 and Ph.D at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, New York in 1986.
He also attended a course on World Currency reform at Harvard University in 1999.
He was conferred Honorary Doctorate in Economic Management by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in October 2013.
Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr Sulaiman served the Government of Malaysia for over 38 years in various capacities including the position of the Director-General of the Economic Planning Unit, Prime Minister's Department, Secretary-General of Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (then), and Under Secretary (Economics) of Ministry of Finance, as well as Head of Secretariat of National Economic Action Council (NEAC) during the financial crisis in 1997/1998, when Malaysia implemented the capital control policy.
He was also seconded to Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) during 1995-1997 as the Executive Director.
He has also served at the Institute of Integrity Malaysia (IIM), as its first founding President from 2004 until 2005, where he established several work programmes to promote a culture of ethics and integrity within the public sector and also in the private sector in line with the Government's National Integrity Plan.
Tan Sri Dato' Seri Dr Sulaiman previously served as Chairman of Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and the Companies Commission of Malaysia and a Board member of National Petroleum Corporation (PETRONAS), Malaysia Insurance Deposit Corporation (PIDM) and the then Multimedia and Communications Commission.
He is currently the Chairman of Universiti Telekom Sdn Bhd and GITN Sdn Bhd, wholly-owned subsidiaries of TM as well as Chairman of Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) and Minority Shareholder Watchdog Group (MSWG).
He is also the Deputy Chairman of Malaysian Economic Association (MEA) and a Board member of Bank Negara Malaysia, Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) and Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad.
He is an Adjunct Professor (Economics) at the University of Malaya, Universiti Utara Malaysia and Universiti Tun Abdul Razak.
Y.Bhg. Dato’ Sri Mohammed Shazalli Ramly
Dato ' Sri Shazalli is appointed the Managing Director/Group Chief Executive Officer of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) effective on 1 May 2017.
He spent his early education in MRSM and Universiti Teknologi MARA, Perlis. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Marketing) from Indiana University Bloomington, Indiana, USA and an MBA from St. Louis University, Missouri, USA.
He was most recently the Regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Corporate Executive Vice President (EVP) for Axiata Group Berhad‘s South East Asia operations, after being promoted from his previous position as the CEO and director of Celcom Axiata Berhad (Celcom), a position he held from 1 September 2005 until 31 August 2016.
Prior to his appointment at Celcom, he was the Chief Executive Officer of NTV7, Malaysia’s 7th terrestrial TV station, a position he held for 8 years since its launch in 1998. Dato’ Sri Shazalli left his mark in the FMCG industry, prior to his service with NTV7.
He served Unilever (1987 – 1993) both in Malaysia and Indonesia, followed by the Malaysian Tobacco Company (MTC) and British American Tobacco (BAT) (1993 – 1996) both in Malaysia and the United Kingdom. He also served as ASTRO Marketing Director for two years where he pioneered the launch of ASTRO digital satellite services in Malaysia.
In recognition of his achievements, Dato’ Sri Shazalli was bestowed the Business Leadership Award 2009: Telecommunications Sector; 2010 as the Masterclass CEO of the Year by Malaysia Business Leadership Award and in 2012 CEO of The Year by PC.Com Reader’s Choice Awards. In 2013, he was also conferred the ‘ICT Personality of the Year’ at the PIKOM Leadership Awards Night.
Dato’ Sri Mohammed Shazalli is currently director of several companies which include Malaysian Airlines Berhad, Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad and Kuala Lumpur Business Club. He is also a member of Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia, the Chairman of PR1MA Communications Sdn Bhd and a Board Member of Yayasan Kebajikan Negara Malaysia.
Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato' Ir. Dr. Wan Abdul Rahman Bin Haji Wan Yaacob
Obtained his Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Technical College, Kuala Lumpur in 1963, Diploma in Civil & Structural from Brighton College of Technology, United Kingdom in 1965 and attended the Advanced Management Programme of Harvard Business School, Boston, Massachusetts, USA in 1993.
He was conferred an Honorary Doctor of Engineering by The University of Birmingham, United Kingdom in 1993. He was with the Ministry of Works for 32 years, where he served the last six (6) years as the Director General of Public Works Department (PWD) before his retirement in 1996.
He is a Council member of The Road Engineering Association of Asia & Australasia (REAAA), former President of the Institution of Highways and Transportation (Malaysia Branch) and The Road Engineering Association of Malaysia (REAM). At present he is the Vice-President of the Kuala Lumpur Lawn Tennis Association and Malay Cricket Association of Malaysia.
His involvements in Government Bodies include being a member of Board of Trustees for Telekom Malaysia Foundation, Sultan Iskandar Institute and Malaysia Productivity Corporation, Council Member of Malaysia Technology University, Chancellor of TATI University College and Director of Proton Foundation.

Bestowed the prestigious award of Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany by the then Federal President. He is the third Malaysian to be bestowed with this coveted award.

Tan Sri Dato Abd Ghafar served in the government service for 36 years and during his tenure, he held positions including the Director General of Education and was involved as a committee member of numerous Boards and Registered Bodies at Ministerial, National and International levels.
He was conferred many honorary awards namely Ahli Ahmad Shah Pahang (AAP), Pingat Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP), Sri Sultan Ahmad Shah Pahang (SSAP), and Panglima Setia Mahkota (PSM) which carries the title "Tan Sri" by DYMM Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong in 2012.

Registered Town Planner, a corporate member of the Malaysian Institute of Planners (MMIP) and a Certified Quality Management System Assessor (IQA,UK).
Chairman of the Board of Directors for Kolej Universiti Linton Sdn. Bhd. and is a member of the Board of Governors for Kolej Universiti Linton.

Y.Bhg. Dato Mohd Khalis bin Abdul Rahim
Dato Mohd Khalis Abdul Rahim serves as Chief Human Capital Officer of Malaysia Airlines Berhad.
He holds Masters in Human Resource Management from the University of Canberra, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Applied Psychology from Coventry University, UK.
He is also a Certified Advance Human Resource Professional (CAHRP) from the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management.
He has exposure in human capital management, having served in several multinational companies over 20 years in the field of human resource management across different industries.
He has been involved in various disciplines of the profession from organizational development and change management to performance management, industrial relations, HR reengineering, as well as talent development.
He was the Human Resources Director of Colgate Palmolive Malaysia from June 2000 until October 2006 before moving to Freescale Semiconductor as Human Resources Director responsible for Malaysia, Singapore and Asia Supply Chain.
He joined TM as its Chief Human Capital Officer on 17 August 2009.
He was awarded Chief Human Resource Officer of the Year and HR Leadership Award at the 21st Global HR Excellence Awards held in India in February 2013.
Cik Izlyn Amylia Binti Mohamed Ramli
Holds a Masters in Business Administration (Distinction) from the City University (CASS).
Business School London specialising in Strategic Management of Technology and E-Business and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics from the University College London.
Izlyn Ramli, started her career in Pricewaterhouse Coopers before moving to BzW Capital as an Investment Analyst.
She joined TM in 1998 and served 10 years in the Group Strategy and Planning Division, where she was appointed as the Special Assistant to the TM Group Chairman.
Throughout her tenure, she plays the role of a key TM Liaison Officer for international forums and organisations such as APEC, APEC Advisory Council and United Nations Global Alliance, focusing on ICT Development.
Following the demerger exercise in 2008, she joined Axiata Group Bhd as the Head of the Corporate Communications Division.
She returned to TM as the Vice President of the Group Corporate Communications Division on 1 October 2010, before being appointed as the Vice President of Group Brand and Communication Division effective 1 June 2014.
