Team Malaysia is the bearer of our nation’s sporting arena, guiding and inspiring Malaysians from all walks of life to become world-class athletes. It also fuels all Malaysians with love and passion for all things sports. And that includes appreciation for our current athletes and their sacrifices, big or small.
And to best represent this new ferocity is the Team Malaysia Panthera jersey. Complete with bold stripes and striking colours of the Malayan Tiger, this portrays that Team Malaysia is a force to be reckoned with.
Team Malaysia supports the athletes in their participation of the big 4 Multi-Sport Games as well as for major events in their respective individual sports. For athletes representing Malaysia there are 4 major Multi-Sports Games which are listed below in an order of ascending importance.
The elite sports and athletes are selected and trained based on the four year Olympic cycle. For the London 2012 Olympic Games, seven sports have been identified by Majlis Sukan Negara (MSN)/National Sports Council (NSC) for the Road to London programme.
