Global IPVPN
TM is one of the region’s largest providers of information communication technology. Its global network spans North America, Asia Pacific, South Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe. Our Global IPVPN service is delivered via a dedicated Private MPLS network utilising global Points of Presence. Developed for Corporate, Multinational, Government, and also Other License Network Operator (OLNOs), the service enables any business to immediately and cost-effectively communicate globally.

IP Services
TM Global’s IP Services are delivered over TM extensive international network infrastructure with Point of Service located worldwide. Current border capacity of TM IP network stands at more than 50 Gbps with TM’s autonomous system number AS4788. Our value-added services include router leasing with dedicated rack space to enable customers to co-locate their equipment globally. The router leasing service avoids significant capital investment in equipment and local operations staff for establishing a POP. We provide Global IP Transit, Global Co-location and Global IX. TM offers this service in co-operation with foreign providers or through TM Representative Offices (TMRO) in United Kingdom, United States, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Global IP Transit
Addressing the rapid demand for Internet access requirement in the regional market, Global IP Transit service is a core service offering for the global wholesale Internet market. TM is the provider to the largest subscriber base in Malaysia and is recognised as one of the leading carriers in the region. Global IP Transit provides Internet connectivity for Foreign Service Providers and Corporations alike. Customers are able to subscribe to the service via several types of access options such as IPLC, Satellite, Metro Ethernet, MPLS, and In Building cross connect, with speeds ranging from 64Kbps to 10Gbps via TM Global Point of Presence (PoP) in Malaysia (Cyberjaya or Brickfield), Singapore, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, USA (Palo Alto, San Jose, Los Angeles, Washington), London, and Amsterdam.

Global Co-location
Global Co-location is a data centre service providing rack and room space rental designed for servers and other equipment. Main elements of co-location are rack space with power redundancy and physical security, plus network connections to the Internet either via shared or dedicated link. Global Co-location is located at CBJ5 Malaysia, CBJ2 Malaysia, Brickfield Malaysia. As for foreign co-location, TM has established partnership with 1st tier co-location providers to offer a one-stop solution to our customers.

Global IX
Global IX is a meeting point that enables the interconnection of ISPs, content providers and enterprises. Located in Cyberjaya, Malaysia - it has an eco-system based on a gigabit Ethernet central switch fabric. Global IX allows ISPs and content companies to trade traffic or peer directly with each other to significantly reduce the cost of long-haul interconnection and improve performance and latency. With this infrastructure, customers can connect and/or peer at speeds ranging from 10/100 megabits to 10 gigabit. Extended services of space and professional monitoring are also available for all TM subscribers.

Bandwidth Services
International Bandwidth Services offer a range of bandwidth services via TM’s extensive international network infrastructure, which includes a combination of terrestrial, submarine fibre optic cable systems and satellite. Accentuating One Stop Shopping (OSS) and Full Channel Service (FCS), International Bandwidth Services links Malaysia to any destination in the world.

International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC)
TM’s IPLC offers high-speed dedicated point-to-point digital connections not only from Malaysia to the world but also links one country to another via a worldwide submarine cable or satellite system.

Transit
It enables fast and reliable connectivity that is established in one country and terminates in another country while transiting via Malaysia.

Backhaul
Focused and dedicated capacity between Cable Landing Stations or Border Stations in Malaysia which the customer owns or has IRU capacity in the international submarine cable or border facilities.

Interconnecting two different submarines systems at TM’s cable landing station.

Global VSAT
A satellite-based Single Channel Per Carrier (SCPC) technology, which uses a Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) antenna & indoor unit to provide a reliable, two-way communication link anywhere under the satellite footprints.

Ethernet Services
Ethernet services are offered as alternative solutions to the current global MAN/WAN services. The services are now further enhanced to support multimedia applications for Layer 2 enterprise networking, with higher bandwidth capacity at the simplicity of native Ethernet connectivity.

TM Ethernet services; which includes Global Metro Ethernet service and International Ethernet Private Line service, is part of TM’s initiative in providing the Next-Generation Network (NGN) services over converged network infrastructures.

Global Metro Ethernet
TM Global Metro Ethernet is a flexible, reliable and secure bandwidth connectivity service, based on carrier-class Ethernet technology. Deployed over TM’s extensive nationwide and global IP Core network, it is designed to accommodate the growing enterprise demand for higher bandwidth capacity. Bandwidth offering is scalable from 1Mbps to 1Gbps.

Private and secure connectivity is established using standard Ethernet interface with relatively easy and quick provisioning. Use of the same interface is retained even as the bandwidth requirement grows, therefore allowing for optimisation of the existing network infrastructure, and Operation, Administration and Maintenance (OAM) expenditure.

International Ethernet Private Line (IEPL)
International Ethernet Private Line (IEPL) is a end-to-end managed bandwidth solution that provides dedicated, secure, point-to-point, cross-border connectivity over a reliable platform at high speeds, with the option of scalable upgrades by utilising Ethernet over SDH technology.

IEPL is an ideal cross-border connectivity solution for high volumes of traffic and mission critical applications such as high-bandwidth data transfer and video, as well as storage applications. Such applications require a scalable platform with the flexibility to upgrade quickly, enabling better cost management and accommodation of ad-hoc business requirements.
