1.       What is iTalk Whoa?
·         iTalk Whoa is a portal that lets you stay connected to your friends without the hassles of logging in to several websites. Users can simply send an email, check a friend's status update, chatting, send sms or even make a long distance call at the same portal by using iTalk Whoa
 
2.       Who can use iTalk Whoa?
·         Anyone with internet access
 
 3.       What browser will be compatible with iTalk Whoa portal?
·         We recommend IE 6.0 and above. Best view on IE 7.0
 
 4.       Do I need to have a flash to use iTalk Whoa?
·         You need flash to enjoy the full capabilities of iTAlk Whoa. We recommend Flash Player 10.
 
5.       What happen if I cannot connect to iTalk Whoa?
·         iTalk Whoa is just a web portal. To access the portal you must have internet connection. You access iTalk Whoa as you would any web portal.
 
6.       What should I do if error appears while browsing iTalk Whoa?
·         Check that your network connection is active and your connection has not dropped.
·         If you receive an error message while using an iTalk Whoa service, the error message normally informs you of the problem you may be having eg insufficient credit etc.

FAQ For Emails
 
 1.       What is iTalk Whoa Mail?
·         iTalk Whoa Mail is a web-browser-based email application with push capability. Customers can aggregate the most popular webmail provider like Yahoo!, Gmail, Hotmail, and more.

2.       How do I set up my email account? What information do I need?
·         When you first activate your iTalk Whoa account, one default email account is already set up for you. This email account is associated with your Master User account, and you will use your Master User account password to access this account's mail.

3.       How do I change my email password?
·         Go to 'Settings' after you have logged in.

4.       How do I check my mail?
·         All you need to do is log in to www.italkwhoa.com and choose Mail.

5.       Is there a limit to the number of messages I can have in my mail box?
·         Your basic account has 1 GB storage. You may sign up for additional storage. Charges apply.

6.       What is the maximum size for an email attachment?
·         You can send and receive attachments up to 5 MB in size.
 
7.       What is "Manage Identities" button for?
·         This button act as on behalf. User can send email using iTalk Whoa portal on behalf of other emails such as office outlook/ yahoo/gmail/ hotmail. Receiver will receive email as it has been send to them by either outlook/ yahoo/ gmail/ hotmail/ etc.
 
8.       How can I consolidate/unite my other emails (such as yahoo, hotmail, gmail) into iTalk Whoa?
·         Click on the "Mail Setting" button on the tool bar and pop up on mail setting- webpage dialog will appear.
·         Under webmail account, fill in the appropriate column. User may choose the webmail by click on the drop down button which will list up to 500 emails provider which you can scroll and choose to configure.
·         Tick the active column and add. Your new emails will be appears in 15 minutes time.
 
9.       What if my email provider does not in the drop down list?
·         User may goes to "other account" on Mail setting and configure appropriately.
 
10.    I have configured the setting; however my email does not appear immediately, why?
·         15 minutes update time apply (one time only)
·         And email appears in iTalk Whoa is NEW mail only. It won't carry the existing/ old mail from previous entry in the account.
 
 
 
FAQ For Contacts
 
         1.       How do I add a new contact?
·         To create a new contacts, click New Contact from the top panel and enter your contact's information in the appropriate fields and click Save
 
2.       How to Manage group?
·         User can manage group by select the existing users in the contact and group it to a new group or existing group.
 
3.       Can I Import contacts from my vCard or a CSV file into my iTalk Whoa?
·         Yes. You just need to click Import from the top panel and select the upload files by click on the Add button.

4.       Can I sync Contacts on my mobile phone to my iTalk Whoa contact list?
·         Yes. You can transfer contacts from your mobile phone, but make sure your mobile phone has sync capability and has been properly configured for synchronization. (For more details please check on the FAQ for Sync Contacts and Calendar)

         1.       What does Calendar in iTalk Whoa do?
·         The calendar allows you to track and schedule your appointments, meeting and events. You have the complete control over the calendar such as creating new appointment, deleting recurring appointment, sharing calendar and many more.
 
2.       Can I share my Calendar with my other buddies?
·         Yes. You can share your calendars with other iTalk Whoa buddies in your contact list.
 
3.       Can I sync appointments and events to my mobile phone to my iTalk Whoa Calendar?
·         Yes. You can synchronize calendar events to your mobile phone, but make sure your mobile phone has sync capability and has been properly configured for synchronization. (For more details please check on the FAQ for Sync Contacts and Calendar)

1.       What is Twitter?

·         Twitter is a free social networking service that enables its users to send and read short messages known as tweets.
 
2.       How do I access to Twitter account from iTalk Whoa?

·         For the first time user, you may need to register for twitter account at www.twitter.com
·         For existing Twitter user, click on the Twitter button and then click on the Credentials button to login using your twitter user account.
 
 
 
 
FAQ For Push Mail
  
1.       What is Push Mail?

·         Whenever new emails arrive in your iTalk Whoa account, it is instantly and actively transferred (pushed) to the email client on your mobile phone.

2.       Do I need to buy an additional handset for Push Mail?

·         No, iTalk Whoa pushes emails as SMS. You will be able get SMS notification in all kinds of Handset.
 
3.       What settings do I need for Push Mail to work?

·         Please create rules for receiving notification. Please visit www.italkwhoa.com > log in to your account > Go to PushMail Settings > Create your preferred account (YAHOO, HOTMAIL, Gmail, etc)
 
4.       Can I send emails as well as receive them?

·         Yes. These will be charged at our standard SMS rates.
 
6.       What happens if there's an attachment on my email?

·         You will not be able to receive attachments with your push email.

7.       How long will it take to receive Push email?

·         iTalk Whoa checks you account every 15 minutes.  
8.       Do I need to be logged into iTalk Whoa to receive push emails?
·         No. You receive your push emails directly from iTalk Whoa servers.

9.       My device is not GPRS activated. Do I receive emails using pushmail service?

·         Yes. You can get it as an SMS.

·         Our service allows you to maintain email addresses in an access list, specifying addresses from whom you wish to receive on your mobile phone.

 
FAQ for Sync Contacts & Calendar with iTalk Whoa for mobiles
  
1.       What is Sync?

·         iTalk Whoa offers 2-way synchronization to sync your contact list and calendar from your account to your mobile phone and vice versa.

2.       Can I sync using any mobile phone?

·         No. You must have a SyncML compliant phone.
 
3.       If a phone does not have sync capabilities, are we offering an application to support the user mobile phone?

·         No. The customers need to have the sync capability on their mobile phones
 
4.       Once a new contact, events or appointment is added, does it auto sync?

·         No. You have to manually do the sync process whenever required

5.       Why the contacts on my SIM-card are not synchronized?

·         Most mobile phones only synchronize the contacts that are stored in the phone memory. You have to consult your phone manual on how to copy the contacts from the SIM-card to your phone memory.

1.       What is Instant Messenger?
·         iTalk Whoa offers a customers a real time text messaging tool to connect with other friends. You will be able to connect to Facebook chat, MSN, Google chat and other popular IM within the iTalk Whoa framework.
2.       How do I get connected to IM?
·         To connect to iTalk Whoa's IM service, you must already have your IM accounts e.g. Yahoo Messenger, MSN and etc. You can easily add these accounts to iTalk Whoa after you log in.

1.       Can I send an SMS from my iTalk Whoa account?
·         Yes, iTalk Whoa allows you to send SMS to mobile phones. iTalk Whoa rates apply.
 
2.       How do I send an SMS from my iTalk Whoa account?
·         You can easily do so after you log in to your account. Use the SMS pane provided on the navigation pane (at the bottom left side of the window). Users can either add from the contact or add the number in column beside "Add Number" button and select the country at the bottom of add number column. The dialing format must be in International dialing number.
 
3.       Can I send multiple SMSes at the same time?
·         Yes, iTalk Whoa allows you to send multiple SMSes at the same time.
 
4.       Can I send SMSes to a mobile phone overseas?
·         Yes, iTalk Whoa international rates apply.
 
5.      What should I do if the SMS sent failed but my credit is deducted?
·         Call 100, operator will check the transaction and refund the money once result shows that the case is genuine.
 
6.      What numbering format used to make web sms?
·         User need to use international numbering format e.g. 60191234567
 
7.      What are the rates for iTalk Whoa SMS?
·         RM0.10 per sms for Local destination
·         RM0.60 per sms for International destination

1.       What is iTalk Whoa Voice?
§         iTalk Whoa Voice is a VoIP service. You can make calls from your iTalk Whoa account to any mobile or fixed line which are charged at iTalk Whoa rates or talk freely with another iTalk Whoa subscriber online.
2.       How to make a voice call from iTalk Whoa?
·         After you log in, click on the phone icon. Use the dialer provided.
 
3.       Do I need any special equipment to talk?
·         You will need to have a microphone connected to your computer.
 
4.       What numbering used to make call?
·         To make call with in Malaysia, just type normal format used when calling using mobile. E.g.: 012 123 4567 or 03 8888 1122 or 0065XXXXXXXX (spore)
 
5.       Can I still use my computer for other tasks while I use iTalk Whoa Voice?
·         In most cases, yes.
 
5.     What should I do if the Call I made failed but my credit is deducted?

1.       How do I reload or check my iTalk balance?
·         You can easily purchase reloads or check your iTalk Whoa credits after you log in.
 
2.       Why can't I use iTalk Whoa services after I log in?
·         Chargeable iTalk Whoa services such as SMS, Push Mail, Voice calls require that you have enough iTalk Whoa credits before you can use them. If you do not have enough credits you can purchase reloads or transfer iTalk Prepaid Card credits into iTalk Whoa.
 
3.       Can I transfer iTalk prepaid card credit into my iTalk Whoa account?
·         Yes, you can easily do this from your iTalk Whoa account. A nominal fee is charged for all transfers.
 
4.       Can I share the credit in the portal with another iTalk Whoa user?
·         No. One card number only for one user.
