Introduction to SRM

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) is a web-based purchasing platform that delivers sustainable savings and value generation for world-class supply management. It covers the full supply cycle from strategic sourcing to operational procurement and supplier enablement, leveraging consolidated content and master data. SRM enable end-to-end procure-to-pay procurement business processes.
The modules available in SRM are;

Registration of Suppliers [ROS]
Registration of Supplier [ROS] as the initial phase of Supplier Relationship Management is the first step in electronic communication between a purchasing organization and its suppliers. ROS is a component of SUS (Supplier Self-Services). It reduces time and cost to qualify suppliers with SAP SRM. It manages suppliers according to goods and services they provide by relevant product categories.

Supplier Self-Service [SUS]

Supplier Self-Services [SUS] serves as a one-stop center that helps customer to conduct collaborative business. It is fully web-based and customer hosted order management system for suppliers.  As a central gateway, it provides suppliers with a single point of access.
SUS also automates the process across organizational boundaries by enabling empowerment of user with the entire supply base to share relevant information and close loop procurement collaboration.
Through SUS, administrative overhead will be reduced and the suppliers are also able to see the tender notice of available projects, quotation notices, awards and procurement ethics via SUS.
