Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) today feted the top ten (10) grand prize winners of the Company’s second installment of its popular TM Homeline Call & Win loyalty campaign contest at a prize-giving ceremony held in conjunction with its TM MU Showcase event at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya. The Call & Win Rewards Programme is a TM customer loyalty campaign ran for four (4) months starting from 1 June 2010 until 30 September 2010 where all new and existing TM Homeline customers who currently subscribe to TM’s fixed line residential telephone services are eligible to join the programme.
The Grand Prize winner, Siti Hafsah Yahya, 55, a police officer from Kuala Lumpur drove home with a brand new Mercedes Benz E200 CGI worth RM400,000, whereas Mohd Suhaidi Sulaiman, an Assistant Catering Officer at Hospital Pakar Sultanah Fatimah from Johor emerged as the first prize winner to become the proud owner of a Perodua Alza. Abdullah Idris, a retire Teacher from Kedah emerged as the second runner up winner and won himself a Perodua Myvi while Khor Kean Seng from Penang, Dato’ Abd Latif Abdullah from Kuala Lumpur and Kamariah Othman from Petaling Jaya emerged as third prize winners to win themselves a Habib Jewellery set worth RM35,000 each. Meanwhile, 4 other winners brought home a Sony Bravia 40” Full HD LCD TV and Sony Home Theatre Systems each.
The lucky winners received their prizes from Imri Mokhtar, Executive Vice-President of Consumer, TM.
“Spurred on by the success of the first season of the programme, TM decided to run the campaign again this year. The main objective of the campaign is to encourage customers to make calls via fixed line with the message of strengthening the family bond while enjoying savings and discounts. This Call & Win loyalty campaign is just one of our ways to let our loyal customers know that TM values their support and is always looking for opportunities to deliver more value to them; be it through our products and services or exciting rewards programmes like this. The Call & Win programme received an encouraging response from customers with more than 1,000,000 customers eligible for a chance to win great prizes awarded by TM on a monthly basis as well as at the end of the campaign period. Apart from the Main Prizes, a total of 480 monthly winners have received their prizes which include Full HD LCD TV sets, Home Theatre Systems, Nintendo Wii, SLR Cameras, iTalk cards, KFC and Pizza Hut vouchers,” said Imri Mokhtar.
TM Homeline customers needed only to increase their talk-time by a minimum of just RM10 per month from the previous month while new customers who registered after 1 May 2010, just had to utilize a minimum of RM50 worth of talk-time on the phone. Customers also need to ensure that they pay their bills on time and in full to be eligible for this four-month-long loyalty campaign.
