Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and BHL Group of Companies today inked a Service Agreement for the deployment and provision of TM’s High Speed Broadband (HSBB) network infrastructure and services to BHL’s new residential development projects in Klang Valley namely USJ One Park in Subang Jaya, KL Palace Court in Kuchai, Jalan Klang Lama and another upcoming development project in Cheras.

Azizi A Hadi, Executive Vice President SME, TM signed the Service Agreement on behalf of TM while BHL Group of Companies was represented by its Executive Chairman, Dato’ Lim Boo Kian.

Under this collaboration, the new housing areas will be equipped with HSBB infrastructure where residents and owners can immediately subscribe and enjoy UniFi experience, enabling them to utilise digital applications riding on HSBB infrastructure which will enhance their Internet experience, in line with the quality living and eco friendly concept.

Commenting on the collaboration between the two parties, Azizi A Hadi noted that this collaboration is another significant achievement for TM in bringing HSBB to more customers particularly in Klang Valley via established property developers such as BHL Group of Companies.

“The partnership established between TM and BHL Group of Companies today is indeed meaningful as it will further strengthen TM’s position as Malaysia’s Broadband Champion and the first HSBB service provider in the country. Provisioning of our HSBB infrastructure to the new residential areas through collaborations with real property developers and making the units UniFi-ready will enable future buyers to experience the new era of digital lifestyle, true to our aspiration of bringing an enhanced integrated digital lifestyle to Malaysian homes,” he said.

“Through this agreement, BHL Group of Companies will facilitate the expansion the HSBB services to the newly launched development projects which consist of town houses and condominium houses,” said Dato’ Lim Boo Kian.

UniFi is offered as a triple-play services comprising of high speed internet, video (Internet Protocol Television or “IPTV”) and voice, with speeds from 5Mbps up to 20Mbps via fibre technology (Fiber-to-the-Home or “FTTH”). The service will also bring greater value for home owners and residents through a richer digital lifestyle and online experience as well as an enhanced competitiveness via a world class broadband infrastructure.
