TM BRINGS “SINAR RAMADHAN” ROADSHOWS NATIONWIDE

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) is organising a special roadshow, aptly called “Sinar Ramadhan” offering special promotions of its products and services throughout the fasting month starting from 4 September 2008 until 30 September 2008.

TM will be bringing the “Sinar Ramadhan” roadshows to 55 selected venues nationwide which include Bazaar Ramadhan, shopping malls and other public venues. The promotion counters are open from 3.00 pm until 7.00 pm daily. The list of venues is as per Appendix 1.

Visitors to the Sinar Ramadhan roadshows will be treated to various discounts and savings for its products and services, which includes the entire range of products and services under TM Homeline, iTalk prepaid calling card and Streamyx broadband Internet access service, i.e., Let’s Talk packages, iTalk prepaid calling card and Streamyx Combo packages.

Let’s Talk Packages

The promotions on Let’s Talk RM68 and Let’s Talk RM108 packages give customers the privilege to UNLIMITED local and national calls to any TM’s fixed line number. In addition, the packages offer competitively low rates for any calls to any mobile numbers, i.e. 25 sen per minute under Let’s Talk RM68 and 20 sen per minute under Let’s Talk RM108 package. Subscribers of Let’s Talk RM108 can even enjoy discount up to 80% for international calls.

iTalk prepaid calling card

iTalk mobile starter pack is a prepaid calling card that enables you to make National (STD) and International (IDD) calls from mobile and fixed line phones plus Internet access features.

i-Talk’s special IDD call rate for calls from any mobile service to selected countries with a charge of as low as RM0.0042 sen per second, which is less than ½ sen! Even better, this i-Talk promotion is valid until 31 December 2008, so customers can enjoy the attractive low rate to get connected with their family and friends overseas during this festive season at the end of the year.

Streamyx Standard Packages

Streamyx Standard packages offer customers a selection of broadband Internet access packages from 384Kbps up to 4.0Mbps.

Streamyx Combo Packages

Streamyx Combo packages offer ‘converged services’ through a single package with a selection of unlimited broadband access with speeds from 384Kbps to 4.0Mbps with modem provided by TM. Customers only need to pay a single monthly fee without the hassle of having separate monthly fixed-line rental charges.

With subscription to any Streamyx Combo package, customers may also subscribe to any of the Add On plan.

Streamyx Goes Mobile Package

Streamyx Goes Mobile package is an extra value mobility package to enable more consumers to enjoy wireless broadband Internet access while at home and on the move. It is value added feature to the TM’s Streamyx Combo and Streamyx Standard packages. The key features of Streamyx Goes Mobile package include:

• UNLIMITED wireless broadband Internet (WiFi) access at over 1,200 Streamyx Zones (formerly known as Streamyx Hotspots) nationwide

• FREE Wireless Modem worth RM120 with a 12-month warranty – Delivery and installation of the modem will be carried out within 5 working days for existing Streamyx customers at a fee of RM120. For self installation, the modem will be couriered to customers within 7 working days

• FREE iTalk Buddy account @ www.italkbuddy.com.my

Streamyx customers can benefit all these at a low additional fee of RM10 per month.
