'LET'S TALK' WITH TM

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) today unveiled four new packages for TM Homeline customers under its “Let’s Talk” campaign at TMpoint Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur.

Aimed at encouraging the use of fixed line for its many benefits and advantages, the packages cater to all segments of TM Homeline customers.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Zamzamzairani Mohd. Isa, Chief Executive Officer, Malaysia Business, TM said: “This campaign mostly highlights the advantages of using fixed line telephone service which includes low call rate and high quality of calls. In essence it is very reliable yet affordable compared to mobile calls. It promises better communication across borders, from any place at any time at your convenience.”

TM’s home fixed line service, or TM Homeline, offers a very low call rate i.e. only 4 sen per minute. Added with the high voice quality, customers can enjoy long local, national and international talks without any call drops or intermittent service. Furthermore, network coverage will never be a problem with TM Homeline as TM’s network is extensive throughout the country.

In addition, the communication is not limited to voice services. “With TM Homeline, customers are also able to connect to the Internet either via tmnet 1515 or even better with the broadband service, TM Net Streamyx. Broadband has so much to offer in terms of bringing customers the latest in content from around the globe,” added Zamzamzairani.

Furthermore, customers can enjoy various value-added services including Voicemail, Caller ID or CLIP, Call Transfer, Call Waiting and MyVoice at minimal rates. They can also participate in the interactive television programs such as Mentor and One In A Million with TM Homeline.

For customers who are concerned about their call expenses, TM Homeline also offers them a choice to use the prepaid calling card, i-Talk with Mobile which allows them to keep a check on the amount spent for calls.

“We hope that through this campaign, customers will realize the convenience of using their TM Homeline. We acknowledge the role of mobile communications in the current environment, but it must be noted that TM Homeline also offers customers a choice of affordable communications through voice as well as data. Whilst the mobile service provides mobility for customers, the fixed line telephone service is still the preferred mode of communications when you need to have a real and important conversation,” Zamzamzairani further explained.
