RM1 MILLION CASH UP FOR GRABS
Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) today launched a new campaign called “RM1 Million Reward Program” which offers fabulous prizes, including a Grand Prize of RM1 million.
The reward program is open to all residential customers of TM who currently subscribe to TM Homeline and/or TM Home Prepaid and/or TM Net services as well as to all individual customers of Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad who subscribe to Celcom Postpaid and/or Registered Celcom Prepaid services.
“This is the first time that TM is organising an exciting program such as this for its valued customers. It is not only easy to participate but also promises wonderful prizes. In addition, it provides an equal opportunity for all our individual customers to win any of the prizes. Therefore, we at TM are excited and would like to urge all our individual customers to grab this opportunity and win RM1 million,” said Dato’ Abdul Wahid Omar, Group Chief Executive Officer of TM at the launching ceremony.
With the main objective of enriching TM’s existing customer profile database in order to serve the customers better through direct and targeted communications, this reward programme is also aimed at rewarding the customers for their ongoing support and loyalty to TM. With a complete and updated customer database including the customer’s preferences, TM will be able to tailor make its products and services to suit the needs and requirements of specific market segments.
In addition, the program is also aimed at encouraging Celcom’s prepaid mobile customers to register their prepaid service in line with the Government’s call for all prepaid customers to register before 15 December 2006. This program will expedite the registration process as only registered Celcom prepaid customers are eligible to participate in this program.
With this program TM is responding to the Government’s requirements of making sure that all prepaid mobile customers are registered as early as possible. TM wants to be proactive and be the first telco that complies with the Government’s requirement, by fully co-operating in this matter and be exemplary to the others.
To be eligible to participate in this program, customers must be 18 years of age or older and currently residing in Malaysia. The program is not open to business customers. Employees of TM and its group of companies including its subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising agencies and their immediate family members are also not eligible to participate.
This 7-month program begins today and ends on 30 November 2006. To participate, customers just need to fill up the online form at www.tmonline.com.my or get a copy of the printed form from any of TMpoints or Celcom branches located nationwide. A hyperlink to the program’s website is also available at the Company’s corporate website, www.tm.com.my.
The forms can be submitted via online or the original printed form can be submitted to TMpoints or Celcom branches. Alternatively, customers can also post the form in the envelope enclosed when they collect the printed form. Customers only need to submit one (1) form, either an online or an original printed form. Customers just need to answer some questions about themselves and complete a slogan creatively to be eligible to win. A panel of judges will determine the grand prize winner and monthly winners.
Besides the Grand Prize of RM1 million, there will also be 3 cars i.e. Perodua MyVi, Proton Waja and Gen2 up for grabs for the first three months of May, June and July with a winner each month. In addition, 10 Daily Winners will win RM100 cash rebate which will be credited into their service account. The more number of services that a customer subscribes with TM Group, the more chances the customer stands to win the Daily Prizes. All individual customers of TM have an equal chance to win if they complete the forms accordingly.
Dato’ Wahid concluded: “We will announce the winner of RM1 million at the end of December 2006, i.e. one month after the contest closing date, to celebrate the “New Year with a New Millionaire”.
The TV commercial and print advertisements for this programme will feature Jalaluddin Hassan, a well-known celebrity.
