i-TALK AND RING RING CARD NOW AVAILABLE AT 61 POST OFFICES
Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) and Pos Malaysia Berhad (PMB)
today officially forged a strategic partnership to provide
a convenient method and venue for the public to purchase i-Talk
Card and Ring Ring Card at selected post offices.
The i-Talk Card and Ring Ring Card, valued at RM30.00 and
RM20.00 respectively will be available to the public at 50
post offices in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor as well as at 11
General Post Offices throughout Malaysia starting from 17
April 2006.
i-Talk is a prepaid calling card by TM that enables users
to make National and International calls to 79 countries,
including Singapore and Indonesia via Voice Over Internet
Protocol (VoIP) at attractive rates.
Commenting on the agreement, Dato Adnan Rofiee, Chief
Operating Officer of TM Retail, said, The new addition
of TM prepaid cards in Pos Malaysias portfolio of products
and services will be most advantageous to the public, since
now the consumers will be able to obtain the TM prepaid cards
and enjoy making calls at very attractive rates from the nearest
post office.
TM has progressively introduced various budget calling
cards to the Malaysian market and has been in the market for
the last 5 years. Demand for prepaid cards are increasing
and with the availability of these prepaid cards, customers
now have choices in making calls at attractive rates, domestically
or internationally, he added.
The availability of i-Talk Card and Ring Ring Card in
post offices will provide better accessibility for our customers
to acquire them while they are posting letters or paying their
utility bills, said Dato Ikmal Hijaz Hashim, Group

In the signing ceremony held today, TM was represented by
Dato Adnan Rofiee while Pos Malaysia Berhad was represented
by Datuk Abu Huraira Abu Yazid, Group Chief Operating Officer
/ Executive Director.
List of General Post Offices and selected Post Offices in
Kuala Lumpur and Selangor which sell the i-Talk and Ring Ring
Card is as attached.
