Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) is pleased to announce that the cable works on the South East Asia Middle East Western Europe (SMW4) submarine cable networks linking Malaysia to Europe (EU) have now been completed. 

TM has already recovered its bandwidth capacity for its traffic to Europe, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Thailand carried through the cable networks. TM Internet, data and telephony services have resumed normal operations since Monday, 8 November 2010. All international links have been fully restored and our services have resumed back to normal.

Customers using Internet, data and telephony services nationwide as well as TM International Direct Dial (IDD) and Toll Free telephony services, Virtual Private Network (VPN) and other critical business applications linked to the Europe, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Thailand will now enjoy smooth uninterrupted services.
