TM SWEEPS FOUR AWARDS AT NACRA AWARDS 2009
‘Most Outstanding Annual Report of the Year’ gold award among the four awards bagged by TM
Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) recently bagged four awards in the National Annual Corporate Report Awards (NACRA) 2009 at the award presentation ceremony held at the Sime Darby Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur.
TM was awarded the following awards:
- Overall Excellence Award for Most Outstanding Annual Report of the Year - Gold Award
- Best Corporate Social Responsibility Award – Gold Award
- Best Annual Report in Bahasa Malaysia - Gold Award
- Industry Excellence Award for Main Board Companies in the Trading and Services category
Present to receive the awards from Y.B. Dato’ Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism were Dato’ Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, Group Chief Executive Officer, TM, and Datuk Bazlan Osman, Group Chief Financial Officer, TM.

NACRA is the collaborative effort of four credible institutions - Bursa Malaysia Berhad, Malaysia Institute of Accountants (MIA), Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM) and The Malaysia Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA). The key objective of NACRA is to promote excellence in corporate reporting, and the awards are to acknowledge and recognise high quality corporate reporting.
Themed "Towards Accountability and Excellence", NACRA is aimed at promoting greater and more effective financial and business communications by means of a timely, informative, factual and reader-friendly annual report.
NACRA is open to all companies incorporated or registered in Malaysia as well as the public sector and other organizations established in Malaysia.
